First World Problems...

General untidiness & clutter I can’t stand it, if you take something out… PLEASE PUT IT BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM!

Nice, Clean & Tidy... Everything in it's Place ;)

Parcel due yesterday. Didn't come yesterday. Expecting parcel to definitely arrive today. Did not arrive today. Annoyed.

Also Ebay. Where the parcel was from. Hate Ebay.

Spending the week on a payed for honeymoon in a 5 star all inclusive desert resort near Dubai, only to spend most of it moaning to the missus I can't get involved in the Destiny Halloween stuff until I get back to my PS4 at the weekend!

Pretty pathetic really!

Drives me up the wall - I understand that we all forget stuff sometimes and or have absent minded moments but the general culture of just discarding something where they stand and/or being too lazy to put it back where they got it from is inexcusable.

The attitude of British people, generally speaking. People wanting everything for nothing and the close mindedness and that they must have 'everything' to be happy.

Ignorance (carries on from the first point really)

Essex accents. Yes I know where I live....it drives me insane :p

People who slow down whilst driving to have a look at an accident on the motorway.
People who hog the middle lane.
People who drive right up your arse in the middle lane as IO am overtaking vehicles in the middle lane when the outside lane is clear.
Drivers who cannot indicate at roundabouts or at all.
Pedestrians that cross the road without looking.
Pedestrians that press the button at crossing lights when the road is clear and then walk across.
People who walk slowly
People who stop at choke points to chat
Women at checkouts who at the last minute realise they actually have to pay for their good and spend the next 5 mins rummaging around in their handbag looking for their purse.
People who jumped ahead in the waiting order at the bar
Drivers who don't thank me for giving way to them
People who say or write 'could/would have' instead of 'could/would have'
Celebrity culture
Reality tv programs
Americanisms
People who have absolutely no geographical knowledge
People who have no awareness outside of the little bubble in which they live in.
Career politicians.
New age parent attitudes on making sure children get everything single thing they want and that they should not be sad about anything ever, instead of actually bringing them to be decent people.
How everyone seems to have a medical condition these days.

Just a few that I can think of right now

People who que up for self service checkouts to only call over an attendant immediately saying 'i dont know how to use these, can you do it?'

The point of these things is to reduce ques for people who CAN self serve, that is why its faster!

You stole my list! :D

This. Had a bloke take ages to fill his car up at the pump, then wander inside and seemingly do his weekly shop before paying for his fuel

This right here is why I always use the pay-at-pump option when it's available.

Talking of petrol stations, the people who don't use the bay closest to the exit, when they could.

Exit
Bay <- this is the one you should choose
Bay
Bay <- this is the one some ace hole chose the other day
Entrance

So now I have to drive past him and reverse park into one of the bays. Thanks, Obama.

When it's cold and the remote start on my car doesn't work.
When the grass collector on my lawnmower fills up too quickly.
The water dispenser on my fridge is really slow.
When I have to add water to my Keurig it takes forever due to slow flowing water dispenser above.

When I have to walk 5 miles to the well with 10 kids on my back and my Dengue Fever is flaring up.

Oh, you said first world problems...

Then, when I fail to beat the lunch rush to Subway and have to stand in a warm building, listening to pop music, while people getting paid minimum wage assemble my food for me. Sometimes I have to wait for a whole 5 minutes! Grrrrr. I'm the only person that matters....can't they see that?

Our office manager forgot to order the cous cous for our free food friday lunch last week, ruined my day...

It's all very well you feeling sorry for them, but are you doing anything to make a difference? Do you even think you can?

We've had decades of Bono and his chums rallying the troops; decades of charities and governments flooding these places with cash. Decades of people going out there to build wells.

And yet the stuff we build quickly falls into dis-use, because no one maintains it. The money gets siphoned off and ends up buying Bentleys for the chiefs.

We're increasingly learning not to feel bad about any of this. Because we've had time to see how resistant to change these places are.

Also: if these places were still colonies, they'd be a heck of a lot better off. We our modern sensibilities we'd also have ended Apartheid, and instated equal rights for black people. But we'd have spent money on infrastructure, education, and the colonial governments would be far more effective than the corrupt self-serving ones they've managed to create for themselves.

Finding it increasingly hard to feel that we should do anything about it.
