Bizarre. Ridiculous. Wrong.
As for this 'problem' in adults, you're either a man or a woman. You aren't 'born in the wrong body', that's all nonsense.
Gender identity disorder?! ******** you are either born a with or without.
GID sounds like complete crap. Anyone who thinks they should be something else is mental. You are born what you are supposed to be, if you were supposed to be a girl, then a different sperm would have cracked the egg and you would not exist.
******* crazy people.
I am a bloke, I like being a bloke and I wouldn't ever want to be a girl.
*RAGEFACE*
Shame your rage stopped you reading the post above yours...

There is no "mental issue" to resolve.Exactly, it's entirely a mental issue and should be treated as such.
I'm more inclined to side with a group of professionally trained medical/mental health workers than the reactionary cries of homophobes on an internet forum...
I read it, but it's complete **** you are, what who you are meant to be.

You don't seem to understand the difference between gender and sex. And why the rage about something that has no direct effect on you, what are you feeling threatened by?
you can have xx chromosome and have a male body (when the body was ment to be female)
you can have xy chromosome and have a female body (when the body was ment to be male)
there are several reasons this can happen one is lack of (some hormone) the other is a over overrestiance to that hormone...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XX_male_syndrome - as well as the linked articles at the bottom of the main one...
I know nothing about this (I don't have children, etc) but can a five year old really know what they are / what they want at such a young age?
Surely they've not experienced much in life and aren't even able to understand or articulate what they feel?
What do you chaps/chappettes think?
Nurture taking over nature IMO, kid was allowed to do what he wanted and has got away with it. For those saying its ok, would your parents of let you of done this sort of thing? Im pretty sure they would have cracked you over the head and got on with life...
Poor boy is just a little obsessed with Dora the Explorer which there is nothing wrong with and all this has happened.
Talk about ruining his young life.
So many posts about how this is all down to a lack of discipline? Seriously? Or is it a joke I'm missing?Nurture taking over nature IMO, kid was allowed to do what he wanted and has got away with it.
