Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao May 2 MGM Grand Las Vegas

pacman, utterly disappointed... really. When Mayweather was asked about the fight he talked up how tough Pacman was, ultra respectful when he could have said you know Pacman did nothing at all throughout the fight, he wasn't anywhere near his level. Mayweather could have eviscerated him in the interview and blame his lack of effort on why it was so bad.

Then Pacman gets interviewed, says he thought he won despite doing nothing and is being incredibly rude to Mayweather. Pacman saying he could only hit him if it stood still and he didn't stand still. Yeah, Mayweather stood still on purpose to give you a chance to do something and you failed to hurt him or even hit him when he was standing still.

Pacman was awful in that fight, but decided to claim he should have won and Mayweather did nothing... lost a lot of respect for Pacman today, both from his lack of fight and his reaction post fight.

Mayweather wins but not by beating Pacquiao.

He didn't give him a 'beating' he taught Pacquiao a lesson in boxing, he totally controlled the fight and did what he wanted.

Funny now listening to Pacquiao he thought he won the fight yet he seems so defeated. Actually quite disappointed by that reaction, he was completely outclassed and should just accept it and not sulk like he seems to be.

Admittedly, there are always times where Mayweather is literally running away, which is rubbish to watch, but the rest of his movement is mesmerising, more so as the fight went on, and in the later rounds you could see he had Pacquiao so far in his pocket it looked like he was telepathic.

118-110? Disgusting.

That's why boxing is dead. Dead sport, joke judges.

lol, there were three rounds you couldn't VERY obviously give to Mayweather and those had you know 10-20 second bursts of Pacman doing anything, Mayweather dominated the rest of the rounds, they were much closer to drawn rounds than clear wins, MUCH closer.

People talking about Pacquiao not putting as much pressure on as he normally does or should have done, I'm pretty sure frustration would get the better of anyone when you're throwing flurries at a guy who isn't there. Of course he's going to try to conserve energy if he's not catching cleanly, and try to be more precise, as soon as he was forced to slow down, game over.

Mayweather is the perfect boxer, he's got everything. He hits cleanly, he doesn't get hit, he's quick on his feet, his hands are fast, he's powerful, he can take a punch. Invincible.

Bring on Amir Khan for the lols.

Yeah didn't think 118-110 was too crazy, I had Manny with three to four at best and they were pretty close, just offered so little

Mayweather has thrown LOADS of jabs, and in many rounds done most of the bigger and forward punching. Pacman was doing nothing so he started to back off.

Mayweather only countering is not even close to the story of this fight. Mayweather counters almost everything thrown at him but he's thrown plenty himself.

Throwing jabs and not following up.

He didn't press at all. He threw a jab and waited for Pacquai to charge before trying to pick him off.

Mayweather had no interest in the KO. For about 30 seconds in the 11th he looked interested

It was insanely dull.

Pretty boring to watch for me though. I can see why true boxing fans would enjoy watching him as he is technically brilliant but for average joe it's pretty boring.

I like to see good exchanges and contact not one guy backing off most of the time, same with heavyweight, I hate watching Klitschko's too, anytime somebody gets close they hug and it's just not entertaining.

As someone who does not watch boxing, Is this what you guys like? There was massive hype around it, For me this was a waste of time watching this, Rather boring.

Eh? Mayeather wants to run for 12 rounds, one fighter wants to contol the ring and one wants to run. There wouldn't have been a fight if it wasn't for Manny. No wonder you've got more and more people pushing towards MMA, boxing is a joke.
