Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao May 2 MGM Grand Las Vegas

it's some card with some great fights across the board, but only one outcome for my money.

Mayweather on points. Mayweather is unlikely to ever KO anyone, Maidana is custom made for Mayweather in terms of a come forward fighter, letting Mayweather do his usual great defensive, counter punching.

Anyway, Mayweather apparently not happy with Maidanas gloves and wants him to change even though they have been approved by all the officials, he wants Maidana to use gloves with 'more padding'. He really does try to give himself any possible advantage. I for one hope Maidana lands a clean one on Mayweathers chin in the first round but that's wishful thinking. The longer the fight goes on, Maidana will simply get picked apart. If he has any chance ie. a lucky punch, it's got to be early imo when he hasn't been eating jabs all night long and still has his power. With Maidana, at least we know he isn't simply gonna roll over, I hope it's a good fight.

Awesome undercard makes for a good night of boxing, Broner is back in action and Khans fighting - can't blink for that one, always the chance he will get KO'd despite him facing a very average opponent.

Mayweather trying to give himself an advantage? have you even seen the gloves in question? they were appalling and rejected by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. All kicking off however as a second pair were passed by the Commission but Floyd has rejected them - this part i think is pure mind games however

Playing mind games is trying to give yourself an advantage though isn't it, and that's exactly what he did by trying to reject a perfectly fine pair of gloves which were given the all clear by the regulating bodies and declaring the fights off. It's to be expected though from mayweather, hardly surprising.

It's Mayweather Promotions, not Golden Boy promotions, of course they want everything checked and fair.
