Download them then unzip them. Copy the folders into Documents (or My Documents depending on Windows version) then Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\graphics.

You may have to create the graphics sub-folder if it isn't already there. I've made sub-folders in graphics to keep my kits, faces and logos separate from each other.

Then go into FM17 and Preferences and clear/re-load the cache to get the game to see the new graphics files. :)

Sorry for being dim but how to you clear/re-load cache?
From the main menu of the game click on Preferences. On the next screen look to the menu bar at the top of the screen and click on Preferences and from the drop-down menu choose Interface.

On the bottom left of the screen is a button to Clear Cache and tick boxes to 'Use caching to decrease page loading times' and 'Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences'.

I have Use Caching disabled and Reload skin enabled. Confirm these changes and your graphics should appear when you load up your FM save game.

Got it :)

Went Barca as every time I play a project with a low division team and never get to see a top side. Going for a high intensity, possession and attacking based 3-4-3 won the super cup on goal difference after losing the first leg 3-2 giving away 3 penalties :p

Here's the tactic I've settled on with Leipzig, still only a couple of seasons in:

The front four do great work, although I'm not entirely convinced by Scarpa. He's one of those players who looks great at first glance but when you look a bit closer you notice that he has no stand-out stats. I would play Forsberg there as IF-s but he's been out for 7 months with a broken leg :(

Preciado is a great player and another to maybe look at is Dolberg at Ajax :D

They the Red Bull bunch currently tearing it up in the Bundesliga?

They sure are. They're rather similar to last season's Leicester in the way they play - 4-4-2 with lots of hard work and a sprinkling of real quality - but with a much younger squad. One of the more interesting teams to manage this year imo.

Getting back into this now because of some more free time and when I'm watching key moments on the 3D engine the graphics are kind of stuttering.

My laptop spec is this: i7 6700HQ, 8GB RAM (singe 8GB DDR3L stick included, spare slot), 1TB + 8GB hybrid drive (not all that terrible!), GTX 960M 4GB, FHD screen (but with panel lottery ), sub woofer (mostly useless), 3 x USB3 (excellent for charging stuff!, usual HDMI/ethernet/SD card reader, backlit KB, no optical!

Should it be running smoother?

Is the laptop plugged when this happens? If not, try plugging it in. Does it make a difference? What power scheme are you using out of interest? I find if my laptop is unplugged it can stutter.

How do people find the game for random results?

It may be my tactic as it is rather attacking but I beat Sevilla 4-1 away, Valencia 8-1 at home then play Granada (second bottom) and get beat 3-0 with only 30% possession and 3 shots on target

Crazy results can happen in real life but I tend to notice I struggle more against poor teams than the good ones and my team just play straight up ****. I could have understood if I had a tonne of shots, dominated possesssion but they stole it on a heroic performance and a sly goal but my team just instead played complete guff.

Yeah, I plug it in because if I don't it really struggles. Power scheme?

Perhaps try a home and away tactic, this is what I'm going to try now.

Try a more patient approach at home against weak teams - retain possession, low tempo, short passing, look for overlap, that kind of thing. If you play a high tempo, attacking style when the opposition is playing defensively and there isn't much space you'll end up losing possession too often.

Generally I'd start with my main tactic but keep an eye on the possession stats and if I'm not seeing much of the ball switch to the above.

I have done a season as Arsenal (I know, I know..) and won the league and champions league. I only lost 3 games in the prem but two were to spurs!! so they only finished about 4 or 5 points behind. Also lost 4-3 to west ham as zaza managed something like 52 in 62

Also had a fair amount of draws to teams like Sunderland and Burnley...so these results just happen I think.

Played the same formation all season pretty much and rotated my personnel as needed with injuries, suspensions and promises of more game time.

I played Ramsey AMR as an advanced playmaker and despite not being natural there he finished joint top assists for me I think. Bellerin overlapping him worked well.

Start of the season I bought: Lacazette, Ruben Neves
January I bought: Alex Grimaldo
Start of next season I have just bought: Laporte, Adam Ounas
At the same time I have sold: the Ox, Iwobi, Ospina, (released mertesacker).
