ive moved a couple of places up but I now it'll take a while before I make any more progress as the jumps between points widen quite abit

still annoyed that my 290 is getting core 21's and doing 260 -300k ppd yet my 970 is doing 200k at best mostly less

is there a way to make my 970 get core 21's? any advanced settings

i think core 18's are best for 970's. mine get 250k PPD+ easy without overclocking them.

I have core 18s and getting under 200k at 1500 core, something wrong.

I have latest drivers installed , what else do you have installed that affect the graphics

I wonder if I split my cards into 2 different pc's they might perform better as the amd/NVidia drivers together could be causing the low output. I nearly have all parts to build a second pc just need to test a spare hdd I have.

Sweet, gone from 15 to 20k ppd to 188k ppd and got my first two millionaires club tiffys in one week :) Am I right in thinking the VRAM clock speed makes no difference to ppd?

Nice one guy's.
Sorry I've been doing seti last few month's
Have just bought a 980 ti amp extreme so will be folding non stop for next few weeks to help out

That's the same 980ti I have in my main pc, strangely though, the FAH client doesn't recognise it, it's the latest client as I reinstalled it with latest version from the site 2 weeks back. Will be interested to see how you get on with it.

Grab the GPUs.txt file from here https://fah-web.stanford.edu/file-releases/public/ and shove it in C:\Users\usrname\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient and fingers crossed :p

open the folder and you'll see the empty gpu text file, just copy all the text from the GPU text file from Stanford site into it and save, then restart your folding client

Nope, same problem, even uninstalled and reinstalled and copied whole .txt file over but: "On client "local" 127.0.0.1:36330: No available GPUs"

:(

What OS and drivers are you using, also read you need cuda installed

that txt file should work as a search of the net shows others with the same problem fixed it by copying all the text over

Recently just started folding again on a 4790k but I am doing this via the web page version.

I have a R9 390X GPU, is it worth folding on that or the CPU? I gather running the command line app will produce better returns than using the webpage version?

GPU much better than CPU, I normally use the advanced control by right clicking my (now missing) icon in taskbar and that will allow you to modify the amount of threads used etc.. on your cpu and also enable/disable GPU folding. Also the passkey (i only found out after 2yrs+ of folding) is vital for bonus points.
