lol well spotted - I thought I must not have written anything last week but I was looking in the wrong place :o :p

Well certainly not that great a week for us but the Russians must have had a similar one as they only gained 6 days on us over the week (so they must have had a slightly worse week than we did compared to the week before)

Going to try out the new mower on the 2 foot tall jungle that is my garden :eek:

my fans are on full now and it's not too bad, think I'm going to forget about overclocking this X2 till after the summer though as I remember last year was really bad - I'd much rather have a stable machine that can complete work than one which gets to 90% much faster and then crashes before resetting the WU back to 0% again :o

if this machine wasn't in the living room I might have been able to get away with another fan or two :p

just run it from a secondary supply :p
 
unlucky lee - start with the easiest things to swap and work through to the more tricky parts when you can beg/buy/borrow them to test
eventually you'll find what's broken and purely by chance you'll end up with most of another machine :p :D

Glad the X2 seems to have been spared the same fate - now that would have been very very bad! :o

oh that reminds me - I'm going away this weekend so the Friday news might not be on Friday :o
I've not decided the best course of action yet, probably leaning towards doing it with data from a full 24hrs early on Thursday so I can scale the team production to 7/6ths

yes there is - though I can't find a way of starting it minimised
I even tried starting it with -min in the shortcut and things like that :p

FahMon v2 also won't let you run more than one instance so starting it using a scheduled task at system startup would mean you'd have to kill it off before being able to open it to view what was going on.

FahMon v1.8.1 may be the best solution as you could set it to run when your machine started so it shouldn't show on the screen but would be logging data - then when you run a second instance you'd see what all the machines had been getting up to :)
You'd have to set it to auto-reload every x minutes but that's no problem
