Cucumber.

It makes me retch. I can't eat a sandwich that's been near any in a container. Doesn't even have to make contact; whole thing is tainted.

I second Cucumber, it's vile. Even removing it from a sandwich (Tesco meal deal or whatever) you can still taste it. Nasty.

I had a mate who was passionate to the point of being almost irrational in his hatred of cucumber. Claimed it had a really strong, vile flavour, which always seemed strange as I find it innocuous and a bit bland and watery if anything. Must be a genetic reason why some people find it so offensive!

Same with coriander, to some people it tastes like washing powder

The smell is putrid to me. Honestly, I've always hated it, ever since I was young. It hasn't changed as I've goten older either :D

I just Googled "Cucumber is disgusting" and there quite a few Reddit threads on it haha: https://www.reddit.com/r/DoesAnybod...dae_think_cucumbers_have_an_extremely_strong/

Another who says they have a strong taste. So it could well be a genetic reason!

Somone replied saying you could be a "Supertaster" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supertaster

Bet you eat pickles on your takeaway burger but?

They are miniature cucumbers. Sorry to tell you this :D
Theres a huge difference in taste though. I hate cucumbers but like gherkins. American pickles which are adult cucumbers then picked as just as disgusting.
