Still be 3 points of City at that point i think, think it is too little to late, Hodgepodge has done his damage.

It's a big ask, I know. But if those results go the way I hope (and it's more than possible), we'll have 6 games to make up 3 points on City.

And to put things in context, 9 games ago (when Kenny took over) we were 17 points behind them. So we've made up 9 points on them in 9 games and have another 8 games (including playing them) to make up another 8 points :)

edit: actually Kenny took over 10 games ago.

God, how could anybody want Man City to get into the Champions League if that's how they approach big games? As clubs I probably dislike Spurs and Liverpool more than City, but I'd much rather they finish fourth.

City are thrice as boring as Chelsea under Mourinho ever were.

it must be an awful job. i am not a fan of mancini but i wouldn't want him (or anyone else for that matter) to suffer from any serious health problems but i cannot understand how the bloke sleeps at night. he must be under immense stress. training ground bust ups, players acting like toddlers (ok mostly balotelli but there have been other instances) and the fact that deep down, the owners want to win the premiership asap. they're also a very dull team to watch. mancini will walk away i reckon.

Torres subbed off, again :)

I guess now you wouldn't disagree with me that he doesn't have the strength for the premiership. He's shot, finished. Well not finished but he certainly won't return anything like the goals he got for the first 12 months at liverpool even in a better side.

His body stood up to the punishment for so long and he can't hack it, sadly.

I honestly think the 50 million was the 3rd best deal in history after cantona and the Etoo swap and cash.

For 50 million you want ronaldos goal return of 90 odd percent. You can see a Shevchenko Abromavich V Mourhino situation happening again, where Ancelotti has trouble dropping him.

Haven't I always said he's an overrated Spanish ladyboy?

His strike rate last season was his best ever. Like Pigeon says, wait until next season to judge him. I'm sure he'll come good for Chelsea.

He's clearly not as good as Suarez though :)

I was thinking the same thing caroll was pretty poor today did we really get him for £35 million:mad:

Don't get caught up over the transfer fee. Newcastle set the price for the Torres deal, so we got the player and profit we wanted in exchange for Torres. He's going to be a great player for us.
