Football 5th-6th Feb 2011 **SPOILERS**

I can't quite believe how we've finished the day one point closer to United, given how ridiculous and dispiriting the result was earlier. The sad thing is, I got on my bike to ride home from work at around half time and I had this awful feeling that at 4-0 up they would get complacent and somehow conspire to throw it away. When I got home and checked my phone, saw it was 4-4, all I could do was laugh.

Finally uniteds poor performances have costed them, i can't for the life of me understand why Hernandez doesn't start, is he much worse when he isn't an impact sub?

Carricks woeful, Giggs was woeful, Scholes should have been sent off for that woeful hand of god attempt =P

Utd will still win the league, Fergie won't let this affect them much, got a great winning mentality.

Well that was disappointing and after my splurge on bets I was feeling confident of a 3-2 win to United, I knew they'd score atleast one against us....I just didnt account for us not scoring back! 0_o

Ho-hum to an exciting afternoon of footy & bets. Blurrrgh.

Well we're still top at the end of the day, and I doubt that Arsenal's unbeaten season will be repeated for a while simply because of the standard of the league at the time.

Just to **** a 29 game unbeaten run up the wall to Wolves. I mean seriously. At the Bridge? Yeah, alright. Emirates? Okay. But Moulineux? What a waste. They weren't even as good as they have been in past seasons, it was just a smash and grab raid and then back to parking the bus.

On a side note, if the midfield is going to continue to play like this, can we just go 5-2-3 and not bother with a central midfield at all? I reckon it'd actually be an impovement.

Like I said during the transfer window, there are probably around about 50 midfielders playing professional football today priced between 2 and 10 million who are better than every single midfielder we have, and Uniteds scouting network and Ferguson cannot find one of them.

Theres four for next season fergie, although Sissosko is going to cost a bomb now.

For instance, I CANNOT for the life of me still get my head around the fact we dont have ONE left winger or Left sided Midfied player.

The second biggest club ON THE PLANET, and we dont have a left winger.

With the dreadful team we have, keeping it unbeaten this long has been a bigger achievement than what Arsenal did back then.... Nerrr :p

United are their own worst enemy, and it would've taken a team like Wolves to eventually beat us.

Should've subbed Rooney instead of Berbatov and done at least something about the God-awful Giggs, but all that's secondary to the fact that the way we were playing in general was completely sub-standard. 70% possession in the second half but three or so half-chances? Absolute joke. At the very least Arsenal dropped two points today so we aren't having to look over our shoulders too much, and who would've thought at the start of the season we'd ever have to worry about L'Arse ever winning anything over us.

Fair play to Wolves, know it meant a lot to them and I genuinely do want them to stay up, but still :(

i think you'll find when we were invincible we were playing teams off the park

You purely kept getting lucky last minute winners and equalisers in "fergie" time

Oh also lol @ at the trolltastic Gooner Gustov-alikes finally turning up and passing more comment on a United loss than their own game. :p
