Football Banter Thread

Not too bad for the Champions, with the defence of our title.

August
13: Hull City (a)
20: Arsenal (h)
27: Swansea City (h)

September
10: Liverpool (a)
17: Burnley (h)
24: Manchester United (a)

It'll be nice if we get an easier start to the season next time. Last season we played all of Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea, City, Everton and Spurs away in the opening 2-3 months of the season and our start this season is:

August
13 – Arsenal (A)
20 – Burnley (H) (which will almost certainly away because of our stadium work)
27 – Tottenham Hotspur (A)
September
10 – Leicester City (H)
17 – Chelsea (A)
24 – Hull City (H)
October
1 – Swansea City (A)
15 – Manchester United (H)

Champions League Second qualifying round draw (12/13 & 19/20 July):

Flora Tallinn (EST)/Lincoln (GIB) v Celtic

Europa League First/Second qualifying round draw:

Aberdeen v Fola Esch
Hearts v FC Infonet
Cork City v Linfield
AIK Fotboll v Bale Town
KR Reykjavík v Glenavon FC

Hibernian to be drawn this afternoon.

EDIT: Hibernian will play the winner of Valur Reykjavic or Brondby IF

Being a Manc I can understand your obsession with Liverpool but I can't understand your obsession of writing everything in brackets Frank.
