Football Banter Thread

Looking forward to friday games this year. The only drawback is that if there are also 2 games on Saturday, 2 games on Sunday and one on Monday, MOTD will only have 4 games that have not been shown live!

EDIT: Just looked. It seems as though MNF has become an endangered species :(

Not football per se but football related. NewsCorp (owners lf the sun) have purchased Talksport so Colin Murray has quit blaming it on the Hillsbrough stuff. I'm not sure whether to admire him for his principles or be a little baffled at the move. After initially finding him an annoying twonk I've always enjoyed his show.

Though the good news they almost instantly cancelled Collymore's context, cannot stand the self congratulatory ****** and hopefully his equally irritating mate who does that late show will go with him.

Demba Ba's career is probably over, he's just broke his leg in a horrific manner.

Warning it's graphic.

I wouldn't say his career was over. Larsson and Cisse both had leg breaks that looked as bad as that and both of them came back just as strong. Hopefully Demba Ba will as well, that's no way for a footballer to end their career.
