lol, Reira, the ex Liverpool one, got fired by Udinese after he went to play in a poker tournament instead of going to a league game, came second though :p

Apparently he had called them the worst club he ever played for on twitter and was not particularly happy there. Still, even if you aren't playing turning down probably 20+k a week to play in a crappy poker tournament seems... retarded.

On Mario tho, I don't think he meant to be racist, he took it down, apologised and that's that. Give him a fine if you have to but the talk of 5 game bans is just ridiculous.

Was he not the 'super mario' who was being mocked in the original format?
As in overpaid and jumps around a lot, without actually doing anything?
And he missed the point, retweeted, thinking it was ironically funny, then gets called a racist for it?
Seems to be a habit for Liverpool strikers to be blamed as being racist. The old one scored lots of goals though.

I assume the ban talk is from Liverpool, hoping to get rid of him :P Or not have to pay him for a month.
