Not my usual team but those are my formations

If anyone wants me to email the tactics to them let me know. Dunno how it works with other teams but its certainly worked with the group of players I have.

Just tried to buy him in my game, had to wait until he was 18 (27th January 2006). Was a bit close to the deadline and he accepted but couldn't get a permit. Will go for him again until I get him.
 
Right, managed to get Kerlon for my 2nd season. Bought some new players in and got rid of some. I've been given £27.44m to spend and I can't really think of who to spend it on. I've got a screenshot of my squad here, I don't think I need anything in the striking department or the midfield. I think I could do with a long term replacement for Gary Neville, I was thinking of Rafinha and then sell Bardsley off. Maybe also buy another top DC and sell Svensson off. Since I now have Sivok and Mascherano I could get rid of Besagno? What does anybody think?

 
I have started a new newcastle game and am looking for 6th place at least , i am at the start of jan 06 and 3rd in the league .

As a long term replacement for Neville have a look at Vaden Borre. Can play at DC aswell DR. He has already been mentioned in this thread a few times

Also try retraining him as a MR, he's fantastic in that position. Even better than as a defender.
 
Hi there,

I have just started my old game up. I am fulham and in the second season (first transfer window). I did crud last year and only just managed to stay up with a 1-0 win against man u on the last game.

I figured i need a midfield center and a striker. Can anyone recommend one for each? On a v.tight budget :)

Garry O'Connor and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar are both great strikers. Also see if you can get Stefano Chuka-Okaka from Roma, good young prospect.

In central midfield, look for Freddy Guarin, Marc Noble and Dalibor Stevanovic.

You have to bid for a high profile player. When your at the bidding screen it should have a comment at the bottom along the lines of "The chairman is glad you are attempting to buy such a high profile player". This normally means he will back you if you bid over your transfer budget.
