If you want a good team and dont want to get sacked its your only choice.

i haven't cheated, and ive built a good team, and yet to be sacked..you must be really **** if you have to resort to cheating :)

well i seemed to manage without and "improvising" :p

just finished 2nd in the league with boro in the first season

juve knocked me out in the EUFA semi final on penalties though :(

youd think JFH is too old but he scored 36 goals :)

jimmy floyd in pre-season was banging them in my first season (first friendly against anderlecht i won 8-0 JFH got5) and was planning on him and yakubu upfront but after i found pazzini i had to drop him :(

but soon both the yak and pazzini were offloaded to chelsea (they offer money i can refuse) aswell as stewy downing to man utd and in came collins john and maxi lopez up front and ryan babel on the AML pos, babel still is the best 7mil ive ever spent on that game :D

but well done on your first season mate, i got 5th in the league and quarters of the uefa, but did pick up the FA Cup after putting chelsea out in the semis 3-0 and hammering WBA in the final 4-1

yeh i try not to buy loads of players.

i normally get try out freebies on a year contract and then not renew it if they end up in the reserves

but im going strong, in uefa cup and a definite top4 team this season.

dean ashton is working wonders for me, 3.2m from norwich and he has got me 11goals in 15games so far. looks like ill be selling luque if i can at the end of the season, he keeps dissapointing, owen seems to have gone off the boil... the cheap strikers are class

p.s. one of the toughest defences ive had in football manager... forget the superstars... birng in an oldy and your young players shine

Yay just signed Ronaldo (yeah the one) for £2.1m and he's 31 now. I still reckon he's got a few years left in him to boost my squad up.

EDIT: Hat Trick on his debut against Crystal Palace

Yes, that's right, I manage Maidenhead on the Conference south, none of this Premiership malarky. Started the game unemployed and took it from there. I like it rough.

Nearing the end of my first season. Already got the league wrapped up with 4 games to go.

Currently 1-1 after the first leg in the semi of the UEFA against Juventus. Already knocked Inter and AC Milan out :)

Yakubu and Jimmy have banged them in all season. Jimmy now has 45 and Yakubu 37. Maccarone and Viduka have about 20 between them.

Does Paranby play well for you. Seems like he might be over-rated in this version. Not that I'm complaining

Just retrained Anthony Vanden Borre as a right midfielder and he's producing wonders, scoring a fair amount and creating a lot of goals.
Means I could do with finding another right defender but it was worth it.

Believe it or not this is for stoke city.

I won the premership 2 times, euro champions league once, league cup 2 times and fa cup 2 times. So that would make it 1 treble and a double
