Would absoloutly agree with you except I never train anything with legs, because when I give legs a good hammering that's enough.

Currently training a 5 day split. Will change to a 3 day at some point, and then mix it up again. It's all about the variety :)

Just had to cut my legs workout short because my back was giving me some trouble, it felt like pump in the bottom of my back at first then it started to feel like actual pain, was aching when bending over etc.

Didn't want to injure myself so I cut it short, rather not take a chance and be out for ages when i'm making good progress.

Great decision mate.

If EVER you feel pain and it physically hurts, stop. Go home and rest. Sometimes it's all too tempting to work through the pain but stopping will save not only injury but it may just save your back.

:)

It feels fine bending over now and stuff and i'm not getting the pains that I was so i'm guessing I made the right choice backing off when I did, hopefully I wont have a repeat next week.

Good routine S7yl3s, I prefer though to do shoulders on a leg day now as doing them on a chest day is too much to get the most out of my shoulders.
same here, my shoulder lifts were going nowhere when they were done after benching, some weeks they were even going down

switched it to legs day first thing, weights gone back up :)

Embarking on a new routine on tuesday. So looking forward to that, old routine done me well, had a decent sesh on the deadlifts thursday. Havnt done my one rep max lately so will have to try that at the end of my new routine. Hit 180k for 8 on my final set, so thats not to bed. Also hit 140k X4 on bench tuesday, so thats going decently well, still would like more, hopefully this new routine will get me up to where i want to be.

Cheers mate :)

I put the inclines down to one thing, I dropped bench press for weighted dips! I was stuck on 30kg for months and couldn't get above 8 reps. Then I dropped bench and as I was no longer fatigued I hit 12 reps easy so upped the weight and never stopped being able to add weight everytime I train. My chest has improved ten-fold :)

Interesting, I may try dropping bench pressing for a few weeks and concentrate of incline db press, decline press and dips (maybe close grip bp if I feel the need to finish off my triceps). It seems like my bench isn't going up as much as my other exercises and I've always had a fairly stong incline bp compared to flat bench.

dry slope, finger in the slope accident?
not nice if it is!

Exactly that. It would have been fine if i'd of fell over on the proper snowflex stuff that they have in the funpark (which I did a few times), but was warming up on a different slope that has this awful big traingle type stuff :\

Sounds like you've done it or seen it happen yourself?

thankfully have only seen it, i always wore snowboarding gloves with reinforced wrist support and well padded fingers!

have burned through a few pairs of jeans and rubbed some layers of skin off though, now that is not fun!
