each dumbell, so 40's = 80kg for example

im still to press my bodyweight. i have no doubt that i could do it 1RM, just never even consider doing 1RM on bench as i train on my own.
monkeypants said:So how much would you need to press to match your body weight?
Morba said:me? depends on how often i have visited the toilet in the day, can range from 120-124kg atm.
i generally rep (3x8) between 100-110kg, so shouldnt have an issue doing my bodyweight 1RM.
That's something that I've found to be a problem as well. I can't put 100% in to each compound at the moment so I'm only pushing myself hard every two weeks. Cutting is good fun but I still prefer bulking.Chong Warrior said:Need to be carefull when cutting aswell as strength just seems to fade without warning.
Morba said:i really need to hit this 'cut' hard and stop slacking!

I shouldn't think you'll have a problem with 80KG, it'll come soon. Train hard
Wardie said:I know, but i'm just aware it's not really a heavy lift and I will improve on it.
Ohhh i'm looking forward to the gym tonight. Missed out on Wednesday so some arms/back going in with the legs!
