Got a link to configurator mate, want to be able to see what options I can chose.

If I can get full track pack, metallic grey, black stripes and recaro seats (going for elanor style) I might proceed and go for it.

£32,950 seems incredible price, no wonder the importers are asking 40k-50k on LHD models with availability, there again if Ford bring in large volumes they will kill of the importers trying to fetch huge money for left hookers.

Seriously considering, depending on recaro pricing / paint option you can have a fully specced v8 for just under £35k

Wow these are well priced. I've never found Ford's (apart from the Cosworths and the GT) desirable, but after seeing these prices I am now considering my next car.

Gibbo have you still got a deposit down? What do you reckon about waiting lists/times?

I believe the first ones are due for delivery in Q4 2015 for the UK. The first batch (500~ cars) is sold out.

Damn. Even so that is so tempting. Are there specific dealers to speak to or is it available throughout UK dealers?

I don't think all dealers will sell them, I asked a local dealer (Farnborough Inchcape) and they said that they wouldn't be getting them and that only certain dealers will be getting them. Gowrings (Reading, Newbury, etc) will get them though. The Newbury one had an Ecoboost on display a month ago.

I managed to have a sit in the Ecoboost but it was only a prototype so no driving opportunities. It was pretty comfortable and the interior was nice.

Sat in a V8 GT, interior wise very up market indeed, no quality issues, loads of room for front passengers, no room for the rear passengers but its a 2+2, but the interior felt great and looked amazing in my view.

Not driven as it was indoors and I guess that could have being an issue.

Is it me or are ford rubbish? Phoned up a ford mustang dealer they had no ideas on price. I pointed out its on the web site and i wanted more info so i could pre order they said no one tels us any thing and they have no info at all

Your experience with 1 deal does not mean the entire global Ford brand is rubbish.

In terms of the scale of this launch with only 500 cars coming in the first batch and all of those already sold it's pretty low key. Your average run of the mill Ford salesman will be more worried about shifting 30 Fiesta's this week to help his bonus than the 2 Mustang's they'll be getting in 11 months time.

Peerzy, you sure about the quantity / timing or are you basing this off the rumours around when the preorders went up initially?

Seems very low numbers and a very late release all things considered.
