They tend to pull it off well, one of the nicest colours and always has being on Mustangs and still is on the S550 is ruby red, one of the nicest reds for sure, but at the same time its a bit of an old mans colour.

Ruby Red is absolutely stunning in the sun but not so much when the weather is dull so it might not be great in the UK. DIB is great in all pictures I've seen and looks lovely on other Fords I've seen over here. Ingot and Magnetic are safe colour choices and what I prefered initially. In all cases though, a contrasting stripe finishes the car perfectly regardless of colour.
Might have missed it but it's a shame that there doesn't seem to be an option for paint stripe(s) as I think with the right colour combination it can look really nice.
I guess it wouldn't be difficult to have a wrap put on the car though.

Lovely car, quiet surprising from Ford to be honest. Especially since there hatchbacks now have the gash grilles. Would be nice to be able to afford one of these tho I might kill myself in it 
so the gt350r isnt coming to the uk. but if you buy a 5.0 v8 mustang and pay another £26000 you can ship it over to shelby and they will upgrade it to 618 bhp. cant say fairer than that.

Rumour is the Shelby GT350R just went 7:32 at the ring, if true that means the S550 chassis is bloody amazing as its a great time for a 520BHP car, right on the heels of the GT3's and GT3 RS.
If it is true, then very well done Ford, but every review I read people do say the handling of the S550 is a revelation from the S197, so it must be pretty handy.
Now waits for update that it did do this time but was pre-fitted with full racing slicks and not a mass production vehicle.

Easy to change if you doing like it, tints, get us versions and programme for them, anything is possible.

Any news on if anyone has had any luck tuning the auto? Seems the transmission is safe for quite a bump in torque.

It seems the RHD Mustangs are their lowest priority. Currently Asia are getting their first batch and this will most likely be followed by LHD cars going to Europe. Then those who pre-ordered during the Champions League final will get theirs before anyone else who orders one now. So by that time, we are looking at the end of this year.
Well, I think in a couple of years a convertible V8 will be my replacement for the S2000. I've been watching F-Types and the prices don't seem to be coming down much at all on the used market. Next year I'll be able to buy a new Mustang for less than the price of a 3 year old F-Type.
If take up is good for the Mustang I can see Ford massively increasing the allocation of cars for the UK in the coming years. I think it's going to do well. A lovely antidote to the asthmatic, low-CO2 culture we seem to be living in for not too much cash.
