I can't help thinking though that come 2015 and generic UK "swap the $ sign for a £ sign" pricing, the V8 will be over £40k.
But if by some miracle the I4 is brilliant and cheap, its got to be onto a winner. There's plenty of people out there who want something a bit different to the vast array of familiar performance saloons and coupes about.
Any ideas when pre orders will start

You can get a 6.2 litre 425bhp Camaro SS in the UK from a Chevy dealer for just over £35k (abeit LHD).
Not many Chevy dealers around soon though
Pricing is going to be the success or fail of this, if ford take the **** with the pricing of either model it's doomed to fail.
This car looks amazing from the press photo's. (referring to the interior shots mainly, as that was the huge let down on the old mustangs).
