Ford Mustang to be released in EU

Everytime I see the price increase, I think to myself why I didn't just order one instead of saving for a house deposit, given I could have sold it and made a profit!

And yeah^^

Having any of the insanely priced ones sold do you know? There was one on AT at 50k, LOL!

The £50k one dropped to £45k, not surprisingly but is still for sale. One was available for £40k quite close to me but seems to have sold fairly quickly. There are a few hovering between £42-43k but they haven't been on AT for long.

Bill Shepherd have just received a Race Red GT with Custom Pack. Not sure how much they are charging for it.

I can see them selling at 40k whilst waiting list is 9-18 months but anything more seems unlikely.

But all the parts I ordered, I could now sell for quite a profit, all USD prices increased, shipping prices increased and GBP has further weakened.

The FRPP handling kit, I got for $1000 more or less and with a load of other kit the shipping was $500, these parts have now all increased by a combined $500 and shipping charge is now $1200 and GBP is weaker, saved over £1000 by ordering parts when I did. :)

Hi there

Car has made it through the English channel and will dock at Zeebrugge the worlds largest car port tomorrow for its customs clearance.

Believe it or not I am now a little worried car might be in UK first week of January, this is an issue because I shall be in Las Vegas partying, sorry I mean working. :D

Anyone else who has had a new car, how long did Zeebrugge take to turn it around?

Not a chance... Its around the 4 week mark for turnaround @ Zeebrugge... Your car will probably arrive at your dealer around week 4 of Jan.

Good to hear, some guys on the Mustang forum saying there cars were turned around between 4-9 days, so that is pretty quick but long enough to avoid delivery in first week of January which was my worry. :)

Second week onwards is fine, though second week is best, as when I get back from Vegas the want will be even higher. :D

funny world.

after seeing this thread the other day, and having never seen one on the road. I saw one today.

I have a small bit of finance to clear but i may take a trip to ford in the new year

Still not totally understanding the universal love for these, they're too big and too unsophisticated for UK roads, plus for a bit more one can get a much more refined car (albeit not as exciting).

Reviews seem to sit on the fence also, typically listing a long list of negatives such as being too large, too clumsy and imprecise. Don't think I've read one yet that really claims any particular greatness.

Imo as a stock car the V8 is the only one even worth considering and even that only if one is looking to put a lot of additional money into it to fix what is lacking.

Considering that the rear seats are pretty much unusable, the car is enormous.

Same with a GTR, but that was ****ing awesome to drive anywhere, anytime! Never had an issue driving that, only parking it but that was just due to not wanting other inconsiderate people bashing the car with their doors.

The Mustang is longer, wider and taller than a GT-R... a car that is already quite big.

And please tell me you aren't seriously comparing a Mustang to a GT-R!

I don't really see what's odd with the comparison, they're both relatively large, powerful front engined 2+2 sports cars. Ok so they're aimed at different markets and don't cost the same but he was hardly comparing a SUV with a hatch back.
