I cannot describe in words how truly excited I am, mine is now sailing up past Portugal towards Belgium with a due date of 27th December. Then it is however long customs take to clear the car in Belgium and then it sails to Southampton and then on the transporter to Bristol Street in Stoke. I've already rang the dealership and requested if I can make early payment the moment I know its heading for Southhampton and that I don't want them to prep the car in any way at all. They have agreed to this so that turn around time can be same day.

Don't think I shall both tinting the rear lights now, the clear lights in my opinion actually look OK on silver/magnetic cars. I will tint the reverse light and side markers however and fit my running pony decklid as the fake plastic filler cap on the rear I just dislike it.

#excited, #can't wait, #is it here yet! :D

Are you truly more excited about this than your 911? It just looks so Mustang....

I think the excite levels are higher, no doubt explainable for reasons such as brand new car, I've got a pile of parts already for it and I've had a think for American muscle cars for years.

The fact it looks so Mustang is what makes it epic, be a disaster for Ford if it did not look so Mustang, LOL. ;)

That magnetic looks stunning!

Agreed magnetic combines American muscle but with the clear lights I also think it has a touch of class about it like an Aston as well. Great thing about Magnetic is how the colour works so well, for example pretty much any colour of wheel looks amazing on magnetic and the clear lights work very well.

Now just imagine it an inch lower, wheels flush with bodywork and my rear panel you can visualize how mine will look. :)

that colour really does look great! I do like the taillights too :) tinted would look a bit to chavvy to be honest, on a red/yellow car maybe but on a metalic gray no, keep it as is! :)

My intentions, looks like I have a tint kit for sale. :D

Problem with tint kits is you loose the glossy finish which I also like on the stock rear lights, so they can stay clear, but I am gonna darken that lower reverse/fog light, looks aweful.

i've got my eye on the mustang GT too, but i also like the Dodge Challenger Hemi Skaker, but this will be very expensive to import into the uk

there's the Challenger Hellcat !!!! but that's too expensive:(

as far as the Mustang goes.....have you seen the ``Widowmaker``:D

Challenger looks way better than the mustang.

What's 'high performance leather' though. I mean.. Umm...

I have looked at a Magnetic one and it is stunning. I agree with you about the rear lights looking fine as clear.

Not sure about the decklid tho. All the ecoboosts have the running pony decklid so your GT will look like an Ecoboost save for the 5.0 badges :(

That is fine by me, the V8 rumble being emitted from the exhaust will prove otherwise. :D

good lord, i dont know how i missed this thread, but now i have found it i wish i had not. For the money these seem like a bargain to me... v8 manual for what seams like the 40k mark? heck i owned a 2007 Audi rs4 this year with 80k on the clock and they still sell for 20k! it was old, had 4 owners and so on.

I want one!

Order order order!

Rumour is Ford will increase the price another £500-£1000 in January due to exchange rate weakening and well them realising the car has no competitor.

Spotted a blue one in Northampton today. Plate was something like ST14ANG.

Looks like my predictions on price are coming true already!

Yep, that will put a car with custom pack at £37,500 area, at this rate they will soon be at 40k.

But of course if they keep increasing price makes me happy, because I got mine at original price so helps to maintain its value.

Only poor people drive Mondeos. A Mustang is in a different Universe in every possible way :p

A fully spec top of the range Mondeo is around 30k I think, so a Mustang is not in the grand scheme of things much more money, though the fuel cost will be a lot more in the Mustang unless you get the EB model.
