Still mulling over trading the Aston Martin for the GT350, but drove a regular GT today, I think you guys will be quite happy in the Uk, the new interior is light years beyond the old one, and the car feels very nice indeed. Could use more power in my eyes but it's quick, gearbox was lovely and was a really effortless drive.

Its 420-440BHP car that weighs 1650-1750kg, it won't feel that quick to anyone who has driven quick cars like you and myself. Infact I half expect my M3 to be quicker than it. :)
The best 0-60 time is 4.3s (car & driver) and 10s for 100mph, it aint slow but its not 911 turbo quick. But in fairness the GT is the base V8 model. :)

Supercharger fixes that though! :D

That first 100MPH video, HOLY long 6th gear batman!

Yeah I think this is an area Ford cocked up on to be frank. They come with 3.73 final rear end from factory, way to short in my view that means your into 6th way to soon which is an overdrive gear not designed for acceleration but economy.

Thankfully UK cars come with 3.55 rear ends, so a bit better, but it is easily changed to 3.31 or 3.15 rear end should one want to do so. Think the gear set is $199-$299 from Ford direct and expect to pay around £300 to have it fitted, but I think 3.55 ratio will be spot on. :)

Guy in the US just took delivery of his, same exact specification as mine:

Such a stunning colour is magnetic. :)

I don't like it black either on the mustang :)
maybe gun metal grey? :p

the wheel itself is nice, but I don't think it looks good on the Mustang.
IMO that design would fit a 4 door sedan better.

but if you like, that is what it matters, it is your car...

They turn gunmetal grey with use. :)

Black wheels suit some of the colours better. Magnetic is definitely better with nickel.

Triple Yellow with no custom pack as per my order:

I'll be changing the side 5.0 logo's to black and maybe black out the chrome pony too.

Gibbo - Meant to say, these cars all seem to come with a full spec list attached to the passenger front window like this -

I know some people (you might be one of them) may want to keep this with the paperwork for the car so might be a good idea to ask your salesperson not to bin it.
