forum rules update - what changed?

They basically done what many other businesses do these days which is bent over for a certain group of extremists who force their views on everyone else and claims you're a _____phobe. That's why a particular thread disappeared too, someone joined the forum and started spamming twitter trying to get the usual mob to attack here.
 
To be fair, I'm amazed that the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard thread hasnt been closed down yet, that thread is littered with posts that would be deemed racist, sexist, defamatory, contains personal attacks, trolling, spamming and more. On an almost daily basis. Come to think of it, the Ukraine war thread contains numerous posts that could be deemed xenophobic, defamatory, personal attacks, trolling or harassment. As I say, you could probably go through the forums (in particular the GD forum) and find posts like that. You'd end up having to remove the whole GD forum :D

I'd be a hopeless moderator really. :)
 
So...we're not allowing people to spout about their religion now? Thank the FSM for that!

So would I as I feel bad for mod team and it must be hard work as gone are the days of claiming, posting pictures of jesus knocking on a door etc as now its all about what you described in your post.

I described the jesus pic and not posted the filename for it so dont ban me. :eek:

Actually, no. Mods/OCUK Staff, and I know the reasoning. Also, if I recall correctly, there is to be zero discussion in regards to that farse of a thread.

Pretty much, yes. I think the new rules are pretty clear, concise and basically emphasise this.

I'm still not sure why cyberflashing needed its own mention when it's covered by the adult material one, but hey them's the rules :rolleyes:
