This is just because your browser is trying to render a load of content, not a lot we can do about that - it was the case before the ugprade too.
Ah okay, wasn't sure if that was the case - no worries :)
I think that thread is probably one of the more 'heavier' threads in terms of how much needs to be loaded in anyways.
 
Are you on Chrome beta?
I've got a similar issue where clicking on a thread notification or other post link is scrolling to the wrong place, often a couple of posts short of the actual post that caused the notification
I'm on Chrome but not the beta.
I'm not on the beta either, regular version of Chrome and it happens for me too.
Chrome - Version 101.0.4951.41
 
How to search for my open mm threads? is searching by threads coming back.

You can go into the Members Market Section and then the Search box defaults to "this category", and search for your name in the member box.

I don't think there is a way to search specifically for threads you started or that are open, as yet though

Use the filters button to find your threads and then check for the padlock icon against each thread. I had about 5 still not locked and once those were locked the post thread button appeared again.
