*** Forum Update - Official Issues Thread - Please check the OP for known issues ***

The bell icon suggests you are watching those threads. Usually because you have posted in them and have the default setting of watching threads you have posted in.

Couldn't be that as you see a dot on the envelope of every thread you post in.

As I said above I think this is due to watching a whole forum section as it includes all the threads from that forum section in your watched list, where the old forum didn't do this.

For example, I watch one of the MM forums and I get all the threads from that section in my watch list also, even though I've not posted or manually watched them. :)

Missed it first time, but this solved it, thanks!

- Not possible to copy/past quotes without toggling BBCode off

adding details. (I'm using desktop)
the editor icon/button to allow you to link a piece of selected text has disappeared
if you do post a link by toggling BBCode . a piece of text from the link is now automatically included too , to wit below example

Repeating this too :
in editor italicizing/boldening(with button) a piece of highlighted(mouse selected) text fails , editor insert point just moves to end of composition.

Noticed a change from the old forums that is minor, on the old forum when you clicked the Overclockers logo at the top it would open the store up in a new tab, now it isn't.

I've checked the OP and can't see this issue so I hope it's not already posted.

When trying to reply to a post, pressing enter to leave a blank line works until you start typing. The text then moves up, removing the blank line

Mobile? I think this has been mentioned but may not be in the list

Desktop, Chrome Version 101.0.4951.41 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Weird I don't get this, I'm on Chrome Version 100.0.4896.127 (Official Build) (x86_64) for Mac

Just tried it now and it didn't happen. Have you tried clearing cookies/cache, or trying an incognito session to see if it persists?

Is there a way to add the filter option to the 'watched' menu?

If I want to see new posts on the old forum I would have clicked New Posts or whatever it was called, if I wanted threads that I had been involved with then I would have done watched threads, but now to get my watched threads I have to go to the new posts and have the filter, which isn't really, functionality wise, the same thing.

My watched threads do not have the option to just show threads with new posts. It just shows them all now. Checked the known issues and couldn't see it.

You have to set a filter.

You can't set a filter for the watched thread part only the 'new posts' which is not so intuitive. I also couldn't get the filter to replicate the old watched threads approach and it showed me a random bunch of threads some of which I was watching but also unread ones which I wasn't involved in.

Edit: Also the watched flag shows all threads from a forum topic you watch so is nothing like what we had before and I do not like it this way :-(

Yea having only unread watched threads in the watched thread page would be good and mirror how it was previously.

If you watch an entire forum those all appear I think in your watched threads.

The new posts works OK for me now with the filter as I don't watch an entire forum.

Yeah I can see that it would be ok if you don't watch particular parts of the forum and not just posts. It just doesn't work when you have both as it fills up your watched thread list with topics that you have elected not to read after being notified it as posted.
