Never seen an episode in my life, sorry.

How? I mean, I'm not a telly viewer by any stretch of the imagination but there's simply zero chance I could miss an episode as it's always, always on somewhere. I've never watched an episode on purpose but the amount of times it's been on in the background when visiting friends (lol) is unreal.

Maybe I just hang with the wrong people, dunno.

Because if you were a moderator you’d realise there’s more than just “edit” available in that menu.

I don't think that's stock XF behaviour mate, so it probably is a bug with the menu that has been added to that part of the post area.

I don’t doubt it’s not stock … my point is; regular users only see one option in that menu whereas there’s 5 options for the moderators.

I agree that it happens to feel a bit redundant seeing the … and only have one option.

Are the other options a quick link to the nsfw area?

I guess it's frustrating when there's a new silly like button, but the edit button is less (but very minor) accessible.

My view is that it really isn't that big of a deal given that a majority of posts are post and go, with the one that requires an edit, it's 1 extra click.

Could the report button be hidden behind the 3 dots too?

I think it's just more, why is the edit hidden but not the report button?

The 3 dots can be "click to view all the more options you can do with this post"

It also tidies up the buttons a bit.

just a minor thing, not so much of a bug but missing feature of the old forum.
On the mobile view theirs no easy way to get to the last page of a post with multiple pages, there used to be a hyperlink to page numbers and a last option, now you have to open the first page (or first unread and scroll up/down) to get to the skip options.

By turning them off you gain half an extra post? Is this the morale victory worth celebrating or is it a case of people just not liking their avatar?

I really, really hate my new avatar. I've got a beardless boy instead of a grumpy old git that would properly represent me. I think the new avatars are generally uglier than the old - sorry. I also don't like being forced to have a particular avatar but that's a different discussion.

You’ve got Henry Hill, one of the main characters from Goodfellas. The actor is Ray Liotta.

They’re not meant to represent your own personal character traits, they’re simply a bit of fun and based on iconic mob movies or TV shows.

Old vs new… shows the increase in size for all avatars. Plus you’ve not been able to select your own avatar for the last 4 years

Is there any way to force the forum to display the last page of posts when clicking the thread title on mobile?

I frequent some threads a lot and I like to go to last page and work back if needed.

Without page numbers in thread titles now, I’m finding it frustrating to keep either going to the start or part way through a thread.

For some reason I've never watched Goodfellas.
I remember being able to select from a list of lower-rank avatars but my normal avatar is the l/h part of my sig.

It doesn't actually do that. The first time you click it, it will, but Go back and click it again, it takes you to page 1 post 1.

Hi, yeah this seems to be bugged for me on Safari on iOS 15. Sometimes I’m taken to my last known position in the thread. Most times, though, I’m taken to page 1, post 1.

This is the same whether I tap the envelope or the thread title or the empty space to the right of the thread title which still opens the thread.

I’m aware of page numbers being in the OP but it was more that there could be an option I’m overlooking or that’s missing that would allow me to browse in my preferred way in the absence of page numbers.
