Maybe the problem is that you can "download" the NTSC-J one and also it only came out on Friday in Japan (I think).

rp2000

It's been out for at least a week in japan rp2000 ;) and the people in the uk that have a legit copy off that certain site some have had there game since the back end of last week .

I will correct myself :o it was 24th the japanese release but i am sure they were playing it a few days before that :p , why the hell they couldnt have a worldwide release is beyond me .

I hope someone is going to do a macho paintjob, you cant have a 60's muscle car covered in hentai sorry. Thats a capital crime tbh

While I take my hat off to the artists (and to the toolset designers) for their fine creations, I do find the paintjobs, shall we say, not to my taste. The KFC one cracked me up though. All that effort...

I will try my (cack) hand at knocking up a Gulf livery. Which is probably the best that's been seen on any race car. IMHO of course.

Is it just me, but I just tried the demo and the engine sounds are well weedy :(

Apart from that not too bad, but I wish they would have fsaa enabled in these games.

Anyone tell me were to get this game for £30 ? (OcUK don't sell console games do they, so no rules broken ?) best I have found is the SE for £39.

The problem is the shop isnt allowed to sell anything else that ocuk does or it'd be fine like you say.

You sure you dont need better speakers maybe? The sounds are one of the games highlights I reckon

Lol I certainly dont need better speakers ;)
It just sounded muted, like the cars had road silencers (even the top class cars) compared the the CM Dirt demo, or PGR/TDU which sound fine.

The first thing i do in the demo is turn the opponent car volume down halfway.

My replacement 360 arrived today and I've been playing the full game for a few hours tonight.

OMFG it is just awesome. I started with the little Civic Si and curently it's running a stage 2 turbo, 6-speed sequential 'box, 1.5 way LSD, fully adjustible coilovers...... the list goes on.

I spent the best part of an hour just tweaking the set-up and have it handling just how I like it now, it's supurb.

Nurburgring is just breathtaking, the most accurate and 'rich' version ever to be put into a game. I have that great version of the 'ring on rFactor on the PC, but Forza's version puts it to shame. It really portrays the bumps and elevation changes fantastically, and the veiw distance and trackside detail is just phenomenal.

The game just gets better and better the more you play it, and the physics feel fantastic now I'm 'into' the game.

The demo doesn't even scratch the surface, it's just awesome

I agree with DreXel. Fully kitted Lancia Delta Integral 4tw though. Now if someone would just make a decent paint job for it.

Oh well.I've only a week to wait.

Glad you like it.

Have you driven the real Nurburgring?I've only seen videos but i thought the GT4 version of it was the most accurate.Would you say its better than that Drexel?

I can only assume Cheets64 must have ordered a non UK version.
But I did discover the cars in the LE will be available as a download pack a couple of months after release anyways ...
So maybe the LE is a waste and I would be better pre-ordering from somewere I can get the 350Z car from ?

**Edit**
Oh well just pre-ordered the LE for £39 :)

LE is costing me £45, but should get it on the 7th. Aside from Star Wars Galaxies, this is perhaps the game I've most eagerly anticipated.

Haven't driven the real thing unfortunately :(

Of course I can't say for certain how accurate it is having never been there, but seen loads of vids and a fair few mates have been, and all describe the bumps, elevation changes. From what I have seeen, it is definately the most accurate.

I would say it's definately better than GT4 rendition.

The thing GT4 lacked was the steepness and bumpyness of the 'Ring.
Im really interested to see how Forza interprets it.

That's what Forza seems to get across better than anything else before it
