Oh well.I've only a week to wait.

Glad you like it.

Have you driven the real Nurburgring?I've only seen videos but i thought the GT4 version of it was the most accurate.Would you say its better than that Drexel?
Apparently the GT4 version is too narrow compared to the real thing (and other games like PGR).

Chill Winston.

I've ordered it in any case, there just seems to be an awful lot of conflicting reports.

If you've got the NTSC-J version and it works on your UK system or personally know someone that does then that's good enough for me.

I'm waiting to see your version appear in your GT then I will take the risk with NTSC J :D

The car ive been itching to do i havnt seen yet on any forums or on the auctions. Even though its also a classic. Cant wait to buy it and get it all painted.

Ive got 4 cars planned so far...

Not sure about the shapes thing for car painting, sounds long winded.
We need a way to export a car file to a USB stick so we can paint it with PSP or Adobe PS, then re-import it to game.
The only shapes based utility I have looked at was in MotoGP 06, and that was a PITA.

A few I made for GTL:

If I knew for sure that it would work I'd order it right now. As it stands, with them saying outright that it won't, I'm gonna wait for some confirmation from someone who has a copy.

In that case a few members on here have some explaining to do :(

Really can't wait now. Going to have to flip a coin on whether I select Asia or Europe for my region.... Then flip it again to choose my first car :o

Why is it in that forzamotorsport thread screenshot quality varies, some look quite stunning and others look really flat, im not talking about the track screenies, just the ones in the showroom.

PS.

This is one of the best paintjobs ive seen, the rust effect is really good.

How are ppl uploading pictures, is it similar to pgr3 where you upload it to the website?

I thought that was dirt not rust ;)

Just had some more time on the demo, played with sounds and sounding better now, pity about the lack of AA in game, but looking forward to the full version arriving :)

I hope it's possible to edit the car skins on a PC and then upload them to the Xbox via a memory stick or something. I'd hate to design a skin using a joystick! :p

*mud... it's a rally car.

Thats an excellent skin, I dont like all the unnatural looking ones like its whacky races or something.

You cant just upload to the 360 anything you like. The game has to manipulate the picture at various distances, realtime and for multiple players.
Hence why you have to use prespecified layers to build up whatever picture you want.
Somehow its easier for the 360 to chuck around 500 combined layers then 1 single texture its never seen before

I cannot wait for the UK release of this game, I only downloaded the demo yesterday after only noticing its release :D

I absolutely love it, the CPU cars are hard enough to make it enjoyable if not a bit lame with micro perfect lines even if you are passing them at the time. I play most car games using the bash past method of just next to no brakes, using opponent cars to keep you on the track. But this game is fantastic. Being able to slot in behind the opposition only passing on their poor braking zones is very realistic.

Cannot wait till next weekend, but having a g/f not sure I can play it as much as I am going to want too!

Just also downloaded dirt and was bored after 1 go in each car, graphically excellent, but lacking that realism Forza as.

Curse all you guys who have it already

A high street video/dvd/game rental shop will be selling Forza 2 for £9.99, if you trade one of the following games:

Will be dusting off my copy of FN3:D
