Forza 2 latest Update and Demo Discussion Thread

Ahh so considering the downtime happens at some stage on Mon 7th this then gives you 4 days for the demo to appear...

Think nah thats not gonna happen is it?

I think this game is too important for them and with 2 years development you want to ensure the demo which is how many will judge the game is offering the same performance as the real game.

Perhaps Microsofts intention is to ensure the demo isnt a BETA code or the game isnt running on anyway inferior code particulary with the last few weeks development polishing up the graphical features.

Halo3 beta is different that mostly to test the online...

The demo was submited before the game was finished so it will still not be 100% accurate.Plus i don't think MS will do that much testing for the certification,and even if MS didn't think the demo was upto scratch,i'm not sure T10 would be able to do much about it now anyway.

I have a feeling it will be out Friday.

i agree.. I mean how many people would play Halo 3 over Forza?

quite a lot, unless you can play two games at once!
 
Well we have different opinions, we will see soon enough if your right eh.

I dont recall Turn 10 saying they sent the demo off for certification prior to the game being handed over last Wednesday. Maybe you can provide a link but i only recall Che saying the game was out of their hands as of the middle of last week.

Any of the demonstrations or test versions sent out have not been using the demo.

Also part of my thinking is logical. Forza 2 and Halo 3 beta are very much likely to be two of the biggest downloads Live will ever of had. My personal belief is that part of the update for Spring 2007 is to help cope with more subscribers and increase bandwidth etc.

Well Mr Men this demo is at the top of my most wanted game to play right now spiderman 3 is about in the middle.

Fair enough, we all want the demo, but its only a demo, full release is not long now :)

True, but tbh im more a acrade racer fan than anything if i had a choice of a demo of this to come out or the new burnout i would chose the later :)
