The bmw took a battering :D Can the spoiler come off and could that effect high speed aerodynamics
Looks like damage was just set to cosmetic.

I bet it's not region free is it? otherwise we could just get it early from the usual asia-pacific game places..

I believe all MS first party titles have been so far. Its worth an import risk imo.

Edit: actually not sure about ALL, but Ninety Nine Nights, Viva Pinata, Gears of War and Crackdown US all were. ;)

Me either, Just Bonet view i think is as close to incar as we will get

 :( this is NOT good news. The cars look like boats bobbing around on the big sea in those vids. Hopefully the bonnet view will do. Buy why the hell wouldnt they have an in-car view?!

Bonnet View which is about 36 inches or approx 1 metre away from inside the car so not that far at all, sure is pretty darn close. :p

What exactly do you mean by in-car view, because games like GT and Forza 1 didn't have that.

Because incar usually sucks, go play PGR3 in something like a TVR Sagaris which has a windscreen like a letterbox. its a gimmick feature imo.

Incar would be fine if incar actually did not minimise your view. When your driving do you focus on your steering wheel and dials or whats outside the windscreen?

The incar view on PGR3 was pretty fancy and impressive in the way it mimicked the feeling on movement within a car but for serious driving I didnt use it because it was compromising the driving feeling and its only a computer game so its a bit much really.

I wont miss that but Im expecting forza2 to have the usual incar-bonnet and front bumper views. My brother thinks its almost cheating to have a front bumper view because its more then you could see normally when driving but I dont want to view the bonnet all the time and not everyone has a 42" screen to waste screen space on a bonnet reflection which while pretty adds nothing when driving competively

The 3rd person view behind the car is not the best either because it has camera motion, again you lose out on the feeling of the cars movements.

GT4 has a roof cam I think which is usefull for any track with hills, the bumper cam view was too low. How many views does forza have exactly?

I find myself in complete agreement.

The bonnet view in GT 4 was plenty high enough though.

External car views are rubbish. They take up too much room on the screen and look like they're fixed in one position on the screen and bobbing around like one of those weird space shuttle simulators that you can ride in.

Ideally i'd like a front bumper view or something. Anything that means i don't have to drive the car with the camera above/behind it.
