How come, all im saying is giving the choice of a forza 2 demo or the new burnout demo this week i would take the new burnout game.

Still looking forward to forza 2 tho.

I prefer acrade racers
 
Hello all,
I have a feeling that the Forza 2 demo and all other demos won't appear until the new spring update is available.
To my understanding,the spring update is due to appear on the 7th of this month and wouldn't be surprise if microsoft hold everything back til then.

One other thing I like to know though,are they (Microsoft) going to unveil any Movies and programs in HD format for our UK Xbox Live subscribers?

Ahem!!!!

Talk of this demo brings me to think has anyone else considered running the "Time Trial" thread? Can someone please come forward that wouldnt mind doing the thread...
I dont mind doing it if your all a bunch of lazy ******** but with work commitments i wouldnt be able to update it as often as id like. Also see my books are pretty full for the next few weeks.
 
Gees we should run a Poll on when do you think the Demo is coming. :D

Try and remember guys this is a demo thats going to be available across the whole planet pretty much at the same time. Its also highly anticipated across the globe such is Forza's appeal.
Hell even in Japan their is over two dozen people that have pre-ordered the game. ;)

Live servers are going to get a severe hit bigtime when this appears.
Ive spent over 8 hours trying to download one of their HD movies off the USA marketplace this week, its not damn well fast enough and Microsoft must be aware of speed issues and the growing amount of material appearing on Live/Marketplace. The update has to also include provisions for this and it darn well better.

Look at the problems recently with C&C3 downloads.

I know the servers will be hit big time, took me bet part of 3 restarts and 12 hours to get the C&C demo :/
 
Can't see what they can do with an update to eliviate the strain on the Live content servers, the only way is for them to buy more bandwidth off akamai and/or upgrade their server farm.
 
yeah the update is probably gonna add more strain if anything, what with MSN running through it now, so yes they probably do need to add more servers, that could be done without an update though I guess :)
 
I bet it's not region free is it? otherwise we could just get it early from the usual asia-pacific game places..
