Forza 2 latest Update and Demo Discussion Thread

Do I need a 360 to realise that it doesn't have many tracks, and has hardly any variety at all? What is it, all circuits except one city track? Even Forza 1 had a number of city tracks plus point to point tracks. And GT 4 had a ton of city, circuit and rally tracks. Variety. Content. Longevity. Things that Forza 2 is severely lacking in. The only city track consists mostly of very long... yawn... straights.

OK you dont like the game, you've made your point (again). For the sake of the thread please leave it at that.

Exactly, I dont like Halo. I dont spend half my life is Krono's thread telling him how crap it is. Why spend so much time reading on a game you dont like. Why are some people so intent on destroying this thread too?

Haha mate, you know it. Had the vRS now for over a month.

If you saw the girl, you'd understand she's totally the one for me, guitar teacher, trainee nurse and beautiful. Is there a better combination? Really is special. Loves driving games too, so it will be hard to get her off Forza, though she can't drive for ****, so for every ones cars sake, I'll ban her from Live :D

Hahaha nice one Hilly. Seriously I hope she is the one and it all works out for you. It's only a car you lost anyway, so much more to gain. :)

In all that above you never mentioned her personality though, shallow git ;)

Originally I didnt think there would be much love for this game on here. Guess I stand corrected, looks like it might be worth a purchase after all :D

The actual gameplay, I do like (Forza 1 anyway) - albeit it gets too hard later on for my liking. It does have some longevity in being able to run time trials and try and better your previous best time on each track though.

If I didn't like Forza at all, or this genre of game, then I really wouldn't have posted in the thread at all. Check out how many times I've posted in other 360 game threads... :) I actually had very high hopes for Forza 2, expecting it to be better than its predecessor in every way, eg. in terms of content. I was even ready to buy a 360 console just on the strength of this game. But I was and am very taken aback by how much the content has been cut from Forza 1, and by how little the graphics have been improved. It is leaving an open goal for GT 5 to shoot into.

Demo Update

According to Forza Motosport 2 forum Admin, the awaited demo will be released this Friday at 0200PT,which means 10AM our time.

Will keep you posted!

Yup, there are people on their forums coming up with crude formulas that they using are to arrive at the correct day this week now. It's that bad!! :D

Haha, she's very kind, very caring, good with kids, some one you can just have loads of fun with like friends and so easy going.

If I hadn't of met her, I'd be going to the RR in a modded ST, now I am going to the RR in a modden Fabia vRS, but yet still feel that much more enriched.

Yes I miss the car, but I really think she is the one, so happy enough to make sacrifices. Give it a few years, and I'll have a nice Exige, or s2000 and be in the police force hopefully!

Sorry for OT ;)

Depends on how you look at it. If all you care about is 'content', then GT5 may well be better in that respect. However, if the previous GT games are anything to go by, and Forza 2's physics live up to the hype, Forza 2's physics are going to be vastly superior. I'll take realistic physics over 'content' any day of the week.

In some respects Forza's physics were superior. In other respects they weren't though, eg. screeching tyres and vibrating controller every time you corner or brake even gently... GT wasn't like that.
