I can understand why you would try to make me look bad, nice try.

Can I suggest you read back in the thread as ive always said between the launch of the update and prior to Halo 3 Beta. Todays post were i said "same time frame" is within that date so tell me how my estimate was wrong, your being a plonker again.

At least i didnt go spouting a particular date or telling people they can thank me come that date. I only discussed it as a possibility and by chance i am still right on the button.

Just drop it please dude.

Some of the best single player games ive ever played I have finished in a weekend, so a whole month sounds ok to me.
Personally I would be bored with it in no time I expect, as there is such little variety in the tracks and so little to look forward to in the game. Forza 1 was light on content but Forza 2 is a few steps backwards.

It's all about online I think, lots of games seem to be ditching single player content for online play, I think FM2 will be massive on Live, as long as the netcode is good, with good collision detection (something that killed Toca2 online), 8 player rooms is kind of limited though which is a shame, 12 would have been nice.

Do I need a 360 to realise that it doesn't have many tracks, and has hardly any variety at all? What is it, all circuits except one city track? Even Forza 1 had a number of city tracks plus point to point tracks. And GT 4 had a ton of city, circuit and rally tracks. Variety. Content. Longevity. Things that Forza 2 is severely lacking in. The only city track consists mostly of very long... yawn... straights.

Im going to request the thread be closed...

Were back to content a problem and the bickering of me and Mr men, sorry for that i like to prove when im right and i dont particulary like Mr Mouth.

DLC will add more tracks :)

That might be promising then, but would they be included in the offline career mode, or just online... the latter I expect :(

Yeah probably true, I think the single player while it might not have much variety as far as tracks go, it seems to have a lot to go through, could well get boring, I got pretty bored in FM1 single player as well.

DD why would you make new tracks and then lock them off from the single player? from all the leader boards that ADD longevity because there is a persistant target to aim for?

Someone counters you arguement(which was built on the details released so far and not the actual game) and still you have to turn that into a negative.
The mind boggles

I have never completed FM1 career mode. I am currently at about ~75% arcade and ~40% career. The arcade gets very tough (well to me) at this point and the career mode gets monotonous and/or tough. eg. five laps of New York and if you make one tiny mistake, like braking either too early or too late for any of the corners, that's it... you've lost. How that is supposed to be fun, I'm not quite sure. Oh and that's on 'easy' difficulty...

The DLC content for PGR 2 was not included in PGR's 'career' modes - just time trial IIRC. (And the two DLC locations were pretty lacklustre as well - a waste of my £6 :()

True, I liked Long Beach, but the Paris pack was rubbish.
