Forza 5 Announced

Spa-Francorchamps has been confirmed for Forza 5.
Cool. One of the classic F1 tracks for Forza then. Spain, Hockenheim and Nurburgring are on Forza 4 but don't really like any of them. The old Hockenheim would have been nice.

From the Xbox One preview vid posted last night I think we could all see new tracks being raced on in the Forza 5 part.

After watching Sony conference yesterday i was just like **** this ****.
No doubt im getting an XB ONE now.
If it turns out underpowered then frankly i dont care, It barely matters anymore really does it, the graphics we are getting now.

Plus BF4 is getting DLC first on Xbox, The controller will be better for it.

And Forza 3 and 4 are like the best driving games ever.

I mean theres barely even a GT in the pipeline for PS4 by the looks.

Forza 5 already looks beautiful and it's a day one release. I'm not too concerned with lesser grunt either compared to the PS4 if the games can already look and shift as well as this does.

Be interesting to see how the multiplats compare.

The whole power thing for me feels like a mountain out of a mole hill, lets be honest Forza 5 doesn't look like **** does it, so I'm sure the console will be fine.

And if you look at the power of cloud service, then it really isn't unreasonable that in the coming years the XBOX One could use power from the cloud for extra grunt.

I know I'll be picking up a copy of Forza 5 now I'm getting a one.

this cloud stuff is all very confusing , how would you get extra power from the cloud servers?

The console itself wouldn't, but I've heard some developers talking about offloading some computational work to the Cloud, leaving the console to work on the more immediate processing. I have no idea how it would work in regards to latency etc, but the theory is there for a whole lot of power.

To be honest, I have no problems with the graphical power of this current generation. I was playing Batman Arkham Asylum last night and still think it looks great. Considering the Xbox One is meant to be 10 times more powerful than the 360, I honestly don't care much if the PS4 is a step ahead. They will both produce amazing games. That's all that matters :)

I just wish they would release Imola.

I'd let out a lot of sex wee.
Indeed. There's something about Imola that makes for a great driving track. And I mean the old one pre-Senna's death changes with the old Tamburello corner and the old Acque Minerali as seen on GP2/3/4? :p

I wish! Racing around Imola on Race 07 does for now though
Hmm, I am most interested. Will have to research this. Does it look good for its age and will it run on Windows 7? :)

Just because i'm a Forza fan and GT has disappointed me lately i'll be going XO, when they start to go down in price, I rather play with the traffic then pay £400+ for a console, i'm much more happier with my PC.

Sorry for forgetting to check back on this :)

The game doesn't look too bad for its age, the car models are rather good. The best bit though, is the fact that handling is still rather good, with the wet really making it quite tricky.

I got the Race Injection game, which works through steam, includes all the DLC, and for the price, I can't recommend it enough.

Ive got a ps3 and 360 and i for one will not be buying GT6 ,GT5 was a let down for me , i mean the tire screeches sounded like they were from the old PS1 and not changed a bit ,not to mention every car sounded the same. the physics side of things was nearly there , but for me i will get xbox one on release day with forza 5 .

Forza 5 looks like it's getting some amazing tracks. It's really shaping up to be the driving game to beat for the next couple of years.
