:p Thats great news then. I'm more of a Gran Turismo fan, but i'll take Forza over nothing. It's been ages since i have played any racing games not having a console, so I can't wait.
 
Must admit id be happy to see horizons come to the pc.

Mot so much a fan of the track racer, but the open road infectious nature of the challenges in horizons do it for me. Perfect not so serious casual pick and play.

After seeing the launch trailer I'm slightly less grumpy- it looks like a 'real game' not the tablet or mobile game that I was expecting. Tbh I would be happy to pay £full retail for the season pass that gives me all the cars, IF the base game is solid and NOT a f2p game in the sense that arbitrary restrictions are put in place that you have to pay to get around.
 
I read that steering wheels are NOT supported at launch.

If this is true, epic PC Gaming commitment Microsoft :p

I expect mouse support in menus will be patched in as paid for DLC at Christmas.

Also, "Windows Store"?

This is a VERY backwards step in my opinion.

Did they not learn from their GFWL fubar?
 
I would rather they mess with this release and get it right eventually for when the next full forza game is released, I'm sure it will be great plus it's free the best price
 
It is a beta so do expect a lot missing from the main game, I believe they mention during the updates for the beta wheel support is coming.


For example, wheel support is coming to Forza Motorsport 6: Apex and Turn 10 is busy working to ensure that Apex delivers the kind of wheel support, performance, and features that racing fans expect from a range of available hardware. In addition we plan to support additional features that we know are important to PC gamers, such as the ability to disable Vsync and an in-app framerate counter.

I like it how they say a 970/290x is recommended for 1080p@60fps, then add a 980ti/FuryX is ideal for 4k@60fps, WHAT, ideal haha. The step from 1080p@60fps to 4k@60fps is HUGE!!!! yet the step from 290X to a FuryX is certainly no where near huge IMO. Yes a better card, but hardly worthy of running a game at 4k@60fps. I even doubt the beast that is the 980ti wont get anywhere near 60fps at 4k unless you turn every setting down to low or off lol.

Still, I'm really pumped to see my favourite racer of all time come to PC. Lets iron everything out and nail it on PC for the release of Forza 7, that's mouth watering for sure.

I played a bit of Forza 5 on my xbox and racing games just feel wrong on the pad. I will definitely try this when they add wheel support but have zero interest till they do though.
