I have a Dell ultra wide monitor so not sure how its going to look, maybe black bars on each side lol

I'm guessing there will be some differences due to processing power but it depends if you have or are planning a 4k TV if it's worth the extra £'s.
 
Had a quick blast, not got much time to play today, early impressions are very good.

The roads feel so much better to drive on from the little I did, and the the world feels a lot more exciting to drive around.

Great intro, I believe it was part of the demo, not to sure as I didn't play that, I loved seeing the
Red Arrows!!!!
 
Are there any recognisable places in Wales to see? I've only heard mention of England (but nowhere specific - oh, except that chalk horse thing on the hill) and the Scottish Highlands and Edinburgh.

I only really played the demo and 1 race so far, the festival hub seems like it could make for a better hub than H3, I noticed it had a stretch for drag races.

There's a photo mode so you can take photos by yourself if you like. Not quite like TDUs photo mode but still, it's nice :) There's also a drone mode. Barn finds are essentially the hidden cars, and purchasing houses is in this one too :) You can even buy a Castle!

I was surprised to see no thread for this in the Consoles subforum until yesterday. I've been looking forward to FH4 since it was announced at the Xbox E3 conference. The seasons stuff looks awesome (every real world week it's a different season) and the driving lifestyle part of the game really excites me as it did with TDU.

I've got a Game Pass sub until January 2019 so I'll be using that initially. I'll probably buy a disc version later on when the price drops. I'm not fussed about the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. I don't like paying for expansion passes until we know what they'll be, so I can wait for those :)
 
Trying to get used to manual gears this time around, much more fun than automatic and makes races a little more challenging, I have left it on average AI for now but will up it as I get used to manual gears.
 
I'm not far into the game so far (a couple of hours), just playing through, I've just made it to Winter.

I'm streaming on mixer if you want some influence points. No assists, cockpit view 1080p60 (not sure if mixer streams at 60 though)

Lol, it doesn’t need to be to scale but they could have got all the regions in and in the right place. Look at The Crew. It should have been like that. Which reminds me, I have not tried The Crew 2 yet.

Don't worry, neither have many other people judging by the fact it's free-to-play this weekend. If the demo was any indication it's a terrible game, and proof that a big map doesn't translate to a good racing game.
