I've not noticed the 'no traffic' thing, I swear I always have it. But people go transparent outside of events to reduce griefing I believe.
Preorder bonuses I believe.
The traffic thing I only see in street races, and it's always a car right on the racing line to screw you up! I quite like the ghosting mode when near another player so they don't grief or get in the way, but a toggle would be nice.

toggle is a bad idea
imagine i have Traffic on in roam mode along with "ghosting" for other players, you come along and switch this off, now your able to hit my car even though i have mine on!!!
They are kinda like ghosts unless you are part of their convoy(group), you can crash all members of your convoy(group).
There is traffic but it is scarce at times, drive to Edinburgh and if you dont see any there then there is something clearly wrong.

Was that the FE one too? My apologies bud, I raced one after too but thought they all had the Rocket Bunny kit on
I'm gonna have a play with the gearing and aero later to see if I can get a better launch, the Macca is crazy quick from 140ish to 220, but it's launch is a little lacking - though it is currently on winter tyres (not sure how much difference the drag tyres make).

What i do not understand at the moment is this :
I have DLC cars, i have the "drift pack" but i am unable to see them in my garage and so i cant drive them
Also this week there was 2 new cars, again not in my garage so i cant not use them
i have the ultimate edition

Go to DLC cars when in one of your houses. You have to "purchase" them individually even though they are free.
If someone knows a way of just shifting them all wholesale in to My Cars, please let us know!

That is extremely annoying, i hope they find a better way of doing this. Especially later down the line when people start buying any DLC's they release.
Yeah I completely forgot that you're normally visible after being stationary for a while. I was thinking more like if there's a car meet up or something, you're not all ghosting, but I totally forgot cars go back to being fully visible when they're stationary or at low speeds.
Has anyone got the Ferrari F40? I really wanna get one but I've not seen too many people race it.
That's actually a good point - in all situations there does seem to be a real lack of traffic everywhere even in the centre of towns / cities. I do have traffic both in races and in free roam, but rarely do I see more than 2 or 3 other vehicles at the same time.
Im now approaching level 60, have about 2mill in the bank, about 7 mill Garage value, have cleared most of the fast travel / influence boards (apart from the annoying ones on top of immovable objects /houses that cant be jumped to / over and all of the barns are found too. approx. level 10 for dirt and one other....have to find some drifting to do.
I also completed "the Marathon" last night - was only a sub 10 minute race though which to me didn't feel much like a marathon, I think I came across another "long sounding" race around lvl 10 for particular type of racing earlier in the game and again it was disappointingly short.
