Forza Horizon 4

Was confused by the northern lights, but i suppose you could see those somewhere like the Shetland Islands.

Favourite part is the hill climb, great bit of road that.

They can be seen from anywhere in the UK if the conditions are suitable - I've seen them down here before (although they will be a lot less bright than up in Norway etc.)!

Think I'm done with the base game for now and I also think I know what I don't like about Horizon in general: There's no real sense of progression. In the intro/demo sequence alone you get thrown into the McLaren Senna (an awesome car), from then on the game chucks a several juicy cars at you with no requirement to earn them. I think I drove my Escort Cossie into the ground several times over - only switched cars when I had to.

Most the D/C/B Class cars remain undriven/unloved. I feel it could do more with making you prove your mettle in slower races first. Still it's a pretty game!

Started this tonight as I bought it off my parents for £20 from their new bundle, thought it was worth a shout for that price. Seems very arcade-y but fun all the same. I understand the comment above too, giving me a Senna within 15-20minutes of gameplay is a little odd. I really like my slower cars as I find I can have more fun in them and not "just go fast". I also picked up Forza 7 today too but that is my Christmas present. Loved Forza 6 and never took it too seriously, it is not a simulation after all - just some track fun.

that sucks and i agree it puts me off sandboxy games too... i like to start off slow and feel like i have somethign to aim for to earn the "end game" type vehicles.

Played this a little more tonight. Starting to remind me of NFSU2 a little, especially at night. For some reason I was given an Audi R8 and a Lambo Hurrican today...no idea why!?

argh how anoying is that xmas event with the trucks .. after the 1st race 2 people leave .. leaving 0 chance to win .. and 5 laps in crappy trucks ... gave up for tonight but i WILL get my santa suit !!

Is it worth putting cars to auction?
I don't really have many cars I like, though I do have a number in my garage. I tend to stick to my Subaru.
There's a Ford GT (1964 I think) sitting that I don't use, worth nine million. Should I auction it and buy something else ? Or is there a reason to keep it?

Still looking for guidance here...

It could be worth it if you set a reasonable price, I'd probably set a buyout of a couple of million and set it on a 24 hour auction with a low start and see if people go for it. That one is a barn find car though so likely everyone will get it at some point.

For any duplicate cars I get I tend to just stick them on a buyout price lower than their new price, they usually go overnight.

Some cars are pointless to sell though and only further break the economy, I would be keeping any forza edition or weekly season cars that you buy with the points. The players that have a high painter/tuner rank (only obtained after thousands of downloads/likes) are able to buy them all and relist them for ridiculous amounts of money.
