played on PC a few weeks back with friend who has an Xbox one, seamless lobby system, xbox app on pc picked up friends online and just sent him an invite

Tempted to get this now I have amazon gift cards. Is Deluxe worth it over Standard? £30 for the base game is great, but the 10 cars and VIP Membership, whatever that is is reeling me in.

Is it simple enough to play with a friend online when hes on xbox and im on pc? How does lobby setup need to be done etc?

Just add his gamertag and use the xbox app. The third message before yours explains it.

Just in case anyone is having issues with this on the PC just showing the splash screen at the start and then closing, just go to services and make sure Windows Push To Install has started, it's not always starting properly and this has fixed it for me

Ah is that what it is? I've been doing the "remove and reinstall a DLC", (like VIP as its <1Mb) which fixes it.

Will try this later as its currently set to 'Manual (Trigger Start)'

because it's tremendously buggy, It takes it several restarts of the game to tell me i've completed some parts of it.

Its still pretty naff comparing it to other racers out there. It functions but thats about all.

Forza will always be better with a controller IMO.

I have tried setting up a fanatec csr wheel but just can't seem to get it feeling right so just stick to using a xbox one controller, but is really great with controller

Been trying to download this for the last 24 hours now. Seems stuck in bloody windows store. It says it has downloaded over 98GB but wont install. Anyone have this issue or know a fix? Gosh I wish the microsoft store would die already.
