Yea they are. But all the people I know who've owned them seem to have problems with them cutting out.

This lead to them switching to an Mx-518/G5. They say the difference is mainly down to the size of the mouse. The logitechs being the bigger

mice are personal preference, any mouse is good/comfortable once you are used to it! i play a lot of cs 1.6 (arguably the greatest fps of all time

) i innitially upgraded from a mx518 to a ie.3, and within a week i had sold the ie3 as i couldn't get on with it! now i have 2 original ie3's and a new version ie3 and i love them to bits! wouldn't choose anymouse in the world over them!

Personally I'd say the MX518 is the best mouse I've used. Currently use a G5 which isn't quite up to the same standard.

To be fair I think the point is that the 'feel' of a mouse is largely subjective in terms of preference and what you get used to, so the only way for one individual to do a proper comparison is to look at the scientific side of things.

Just got a MX1000 after having it recommended to me as a great all round mouse by Malc30. Used to use an MX510, initially it felt laggy, but I've come accustomed to it now and realised its not lag, its just different acceleration and has a different feel to it, the wireless-ness is bliss, its so comfortable, more buttons than you can ever need.
Now I've got used to the differing feel I can shoot just aswell as before, and its a damn site more comfortable doing it for a long period of time.

Ok.. after reading numerous reviews I've decided upon the DeathAdder.
I'll let u guys know my opinions when I get it on Tuesday/Wednesday next week.

However.. I now need a mouse mat.. any suggestions?
