Stick it in high interest savings account of some type.I don't think this is a good place to find interesting uses for 10k.
No one has called it life changing money, it's just going to polish the existing comfort level.
And I'd do the same. Might motivate some house repairs if they'd be "free", rest into savings.

Ummmm i as the top revenue earner in my hospital restaurant, I already own multiple Gucci belts....
I'd probably say 2 great holidays or boringly overpay the mortgage but that's really boring..

£10k is about 2% of my mortgage balance, so it would barely touch the sides. So depressing.
