Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

IIRC free delivery was always whatever worked out the cheapest given the item size, weight and cost.

1-5 days could simply be "whatever is cheapest" or could be covering themselves if there is a delay in either getting it out the door, or in transit.
Free delivery has always been DPD next day for me unless you spend under £40 then it defaults to royal mail 2nd class for free delivery.

I think somethings changed, I ordered two items at 2pm today for more than £40.00 and they've not been shipped. Although I only had the option for Free 1-5, next day before 10:30 or 12:00, the all day option wasn't listed, so could be a DPD issue, lack of drivers maybe?

They don't always ship same day, depends on how busy it is. They're probably getting really busy again, this kinda happened when 3000 series dropped and deliveries were taking upto a week to ship.

They would have if I paid an additional £18.00 but I'm happy to wait for the free delivery. I just thought with the £10.50 Next day all day option not being there it might of been a DPD logistics issue.

It's times like this that the lack of free delivery up here really hurts. I just ordered the new Corsair RM850x psu at £109.99 which is a £20 saving over the usual price. I then had to pay £10.50 for a 2 day DPD service that I most likely won't see until Monday and wipes out half the saving. It's still cheaper than elsewhere but being charged for a reduced level of delivery service sucks big time.

Same for me and whoever is just over a patch of water. No matter what site declared 'free shipping' I always end up at least a fiver extra for shipping, I would even take the royal mail to get free shipping (considering they do charge no extra).

It NEVER accepts my Password. Tim helped me out last time and it worked.
Page does not Redirect properly. Anyone else having this problem.
Fed Up as once upon a time it all worked each time I logged in to buy something. Now it is Useless.

Seems something has changed? Says my account is linked but free shipping is no longer available.

My bad, sorry. There was a glitch on the website change that wasn't triggering the changes after removing and re-adding the items.

Nope you still get it. Though it no longer says next day DPD just normal DPD. But my order on Tuesday turned up on Wednesday as normal.

Guessing its still next day depending on how busy both ocuk are and DPD are. As you are not paying extra for next day they can delay it if need be.

Trying to buy a mouse mat my account says i should get free shipping but when going through the pay process the cheapest postage is £8.70? is there something i am doing wrong or a min spend on orders?
