Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

i always thought you got next day for free when ordering,i no it was £2 cheaper on here but i could have geting my new cooler next day from another company for free, now you have sent it first class, could take a week this

Since when did the rules change. I can no longer get free delivery. I registered years ago but now i need over 100 posts. I've bought tonnes from Overclockers, just went to pay for a hard drive and have to pay £7 delivery :(

I might not be the biggest poster on these forums but i read them every day.

Now because of this I looked at my 2nd option shop, i found out they had the hard drive £1 cheaper plus i get free delivery there also. Guess i'll get it from there.

It's not that hard to get 100 posts without spamming.

You get free first class, there are weight and value limitations on the service though (1kg and about £50)

Couriers don't have the same universal service obligation RM does so they charge more for crossing water, it's just how it is. You cannot compare courier with RM (and special delivery is an expensive premium service).

As an Islander (Shetland) I found this quite funny, especially "You cannot compare courier with RM (and special delivery is an expensive premium service)." how right you are.
Up here, RM outdoes every other carrier going. I ordered something from a competitor yesterday sent first class and it arrived today. Couriers charge a surcharge for transporting goods to the islands as they have to use third party couriers but RM special delivery usually still comes in cheaper than courier surcharges and yet fewer companies give you the option to use RMSD.

I just realised I've not said thanks for the free postage :p So thank you OcUK :D It's nice to know they appreciate the business the forum members give :)
