Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

No offence to OcUK, but surely the lack of free shipping makes renders this offer useless in a way? I wanted to order the 1GB GTX 460 card that's on offer at the moment, but it works out as more expensive than a competing shop merely because of the lack of free shipping. Sure, I get free shipping there, but the whole point of the deal is that it's supposed to work out cheaper. Plus, if I want to order the XFX 650W XXX that I should get free shipping for, I have to pay shipping for that as well :S
 
Very smart OCUK. i just need to get myself past 250 posts intime for my $1000 super duper Bulldozer Upgrades in Q2. oh and the occassional impulse purchases.
 
haha, its funny you ask, round here we call pounds dollars (yorkshire youth), i guess on the net its a bit more literral, i meant Quidzzzz, But yh 2011 big year indeed for us PC'z, apparently.

Cycling is where the bulk of my money goes and I never pay a penny for delivery (except for whole bikes or frames) and that's delivery to Northern Ireland. Expensive items are sent courier and cheaper items royal mail and irrespective of whether it is courier and high cost and therefore high insurance items or not the delivery charge is zero if I chose that option. Even if I do pay for delivery it is usually only a few pounds.

All computer parts suppliers charge really high rates for delivery. I can only presume the margins in cycling products are much higher or else they are better at negotiating postage rates :D
 
My brother has gone away for a while and has created a new forum username, so his wont be used for quite some time.

He already has the free shipping offer activated on his account, im just worried if its not used for some months, it will be deactivated and he'll loose free shipping on his account.
 
I dont see the free shipping option, it seems to have disappeared :(
