Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

ive been here 4 years under diff nicks and have 100+post's do i get free postage as i go elsewhere for free postage

I'm not 100% certain but I think you have to login to your account on the overclockers website, then go into your account section. In there somewhere you need to tick the free delivery box (i think!) :D

Hope this helps.

fantastic offer - nice one ocuk

The new courier (DPD) are absolute rubbish in my area, late deliveries, rude drivers, LAZY drivers (go home and say they cant find my house even though they all have gps and my house is the only one with my post code!) virtually imposible to talk to a human being to, not v handy when the automated web based pick your parcel up system isnt working.

so yes, it will be nice to have free delivery instead of paying for a pants service from them!

(i appriciate they may be v good in other areas and that ocuk have no controll over individual drivers or DPD themselfs but iv had many problems with them, from 4 or 5 different companys postage attempts both at my house and my shop over the last couple of years)

The depot in question is the ferndown one (south uk-prob listed as bournemouth)

but anyway, excuse my rant, im of to make enough posts to qualify as i am ready to order a whole bunch of stuff for my next build :D

Just registered my forum account against my ocuk name yet I dont see freeshipping anywhere, is this just automated ocuk end ?

When you purchase a item check the delivery options and will show free del, this would be Royal Mail First class or DPD.

Got a question here. Who stopped the free shipping for certain postcodes (even though i always used to qualify) in Scotland, OCUK or DPD? The reason i ask is that i placed a order with a competitor and went for free shipping. The order was dispatched on Monday and delivered on Wednesday. Only turned out to be DPD so what's going on with OCUK? Exactly the same 2 day service we used to get from here for free.

I have bought using free delivery before (4GB HyperX last time) but my account shows no previous orders, address or card details and no option for free delivery.
Please help!!

OcUK lost most of my business as a result of this, as far as I know it is DPD after having a chat with the delivery driver. Each of the courier companies draw their boundaries slightly differently based on postcodes, as a result DPD classed me as the highlands and islands (laughable given where I live) but that is simply due to a crude use of poscodes. With OcUK's previous couriers I qualified for free next day delivery but with DPD I'm classed as 2 day delivery only and as such OcUK will not offer free delivery. I did contact them about it but they were hopeless, if not for the DPD driver I spoke to in work I'd still be guessing what was going on. Luckily all the competitors I've used have been very reliable and often cheaper.

Under where it says. This offer does NOT apply to
it should also mention that if you live on an island or certain parts of the scottish highlands you do not qualifie for free delivery .

I can understand the extra price when seperate delivey companies are used like DPD, However my expereince has been that when using Royal Mail 1st class there is no penalty to pay. And 9 times out of 10 a next day delivery arrives the next day.

For us loyal members couldnt OCUK subsidize the delivery cost by reduseing it by say 50%.
I am aware of a slight loop hole being that if a product ordered is under a value of approx £46 no matter what the weight it doe's qualify for free shipping under the current loyalty scheme.
Couldnt OCUK say then if your order is of £100 or less then shipping is free, for orders over £100 then the shipping price will be reduced by 50%.

The main reason i bring this up is OCUK currently have a product on offer which i would like to purchase however the price of shipping ontop rule's out any saving i would make by taking up thier offer.

Somethings up!! I bought something before xmas and got free delivery.

I just filled me cart today and its not showing free delivery. Will be ordering from competitor as they are similar price (slightly cheaper) and free delivery

Sorry OcUK
