But Yodel are also horrific from my experience!
 
I can only speak as I find, and have had very good service from them recently.

Their local depot phone numbers are not that hard to find, and I when I called them last week, as I was getting a bit worried about a late delivery, the girl contacted the driver, and then called me back to say that he was on his way, but would probably not reach us until about 5pm... which he did!

You can't really ask for better service than that... well except from DPD, of course, who email you with a 1 hour delivery window!
 
DPD did a relatively good job for me yesterday...was waiting in my 1 hour window, then I had a look on the tracking site and apparently I'd refused delivery! One slightly angry (not rude) phone call later and about 20 minutes and the guy was there with my parcel! Apparently he'd been to some different flats...not sure if he made that up though tbh.

I see my old UK address is still an option in my account and it has the free shipping still :p
I can't remember but assume that the cheapest UK was £3-£4, so why not discount that much off the international shipping for all loyal customers? So with two GPU's in my basket will cost me £9.50 shipped it could be £6.50 as a result of loyalty. Nothing in comparison to the price of the GPU's but everything is appreciated.

Obviously easier said than done but worth looking into?
 
cool, i didnt realise you could get free shipping on OCUK stuff, im on the look out for a new GPU too, sweet.

How do you go about registering for free shipping, or is it automatically picked up off your account??

5UB, is that the new OCUK tape your using? Didn't get that tape on my packaging this morning on a couple GTX680s.

And I'd avoid Yodel too, especially with sensitive components the way I've heard friends describe how they handle them and receiving dented boxes some months ago from elsewhere. Quite happy with OCUK continue using DPD as they are reasonably priced for a professional service and fast delivery.
 
We may have some brown tape left, so some people may still receive this, however we are trying to use the OcUK tape when we can, but we obviously need to use up what we have already too. :)
