FREESYNC NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER!

I hope there's a significant drop in price when they are confirmed, otherwise the argument of "Gsync hardware in the monitors adds £100-£150 to the production cost" seems a joke

Can we get confirmation on that LG being 3440x1440?
At CES, there's a lot of sources coming out saying it's a 2560x1080 one.

I think the manufactuers themselves are confused at the moment.

LG told me it was 3440x1440 to which I responded well surely it would be 34UM97 then to fit within the current lineup naming/model scheme and surely UM67 would be 2560x1440, this confused them to which they promised to get back to me in 48hrs, its now being two weeks, LOL.

Stay classy LG.

No updates, manufacturers can take weeks/months to get final specs to us after events such as Computex/CES, as the only person who knows the real spec is some engineer/R&D bod, who does not release such final info to marketing department to put onlines until months later.

Fair enough :D

Hi there

Check out the used to be G-Sync section, do not order yet as were getting pricing confirmed on the new G-Sync and FreeSync models from LG and Acer, but my god are they nice.

Also some really nice new stuff coming from Acer, but even a google search does not show them and they were not at CES but in short looks like Acer will have the best gaming monitors of 2015.

Keep your eyes on our G-Sync/FreeSync section, monitors will be getting added at random this month/next and we have exclusives on a lot of models, particular, LG, Samsung and some Acer ones. :)

Do you have any details on what models you have a deal on? I would really like this LG (bleed free) and a VA screen.

I was so looking forward to 3440 x 1440 lg freesync monitor, returned the curved version and have purchased a new monitor since, in hoping for a decent freesync version to replace the 34uc87 but why do they have to make the resolution 2560 x 1080 on a 34inch monitor !

Hmmm - Well I hear what you are saying but all the interviews at CES say 2560x1080.

Take a look at this video preview : LG 34UM67 21:9 Ultrawide Gaming Monitor Hands-on At 0:40 where he shows the freesync/gsync demo you can clearly see on screen that it states it is running at 2560x1080.

Might be prudent to update the product page to make it clear that the resolution is actually TBA and not definitely 3440x1440...

AMD also specified 2560 x 1080 resolution for that model in their freeSync models list. i'm pretty sure it will be 2560 x 1080 as well

Changed it as that makes sense based on model name, still awaiting update from LG, I hope a 34UM97 Freesync with 3440x1440 comes out.

I hope so as well. 21:9 is becoming a very popular monitor type and will gain more and more support in games IMHO.
