FREESYNC NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER!

Logic does not dictate anything about pricing.

Gibbo stated HIMSELF that the pricing is as it is as a result of an educated guess due to the fact pricing provided appears to be wrong.

There is none of your so called 'logic' involved. Unless of course, you require some bizzare form of logic in order to read.

Hmm, so a new confirmed (presumably Gibbo?) price of £429.95 for 1440p/144Hz TN Freesync screen, damn tempting. Wonder what will happen to the price of the ROG Swift now (or in March anyway) with such direct competition.

I think the Rog was priced at a premium and for Nvidia users it still is.

Nothing yet but there are rumoured to be ~20 adaptive sync monitors by end of the year. I would bet at least one will be in tour preferred resolution.

No updates, manufacturers can take weeks/months to get final specs to us after events such as Computex/CES, as the only person who knows the real spec is some engineer/R&D bod, who does not release such final info to marketing department to put onlines until months later.

Any news?

Acer XB270HA = 55 - 144Hz
Acer XB270HU = 30 - 144Hz
Acer XB280HK = 55 - 75Hz (this one in particular is shocking)
Acer XG270HU = 50 - 144Hz

If that is typical of the ranges for these monitors then it really will be necessary for the buyer to get as much info as they can before buying to avoid disappointment. Made even more difficult if the monitor manufacturers don't normally make this info easy to find.
