Yeah, he did. Still drove a good race to recover his own position. Don't see why one mistake should exclude him.
Because he also span Alonso.
He was certainly not DOD

If the poll says “1 because Vettel didn’t win” it needs to also say “10 (because Hamilton won)”
Well, I <3 Hamilton and gave it a two…
Got to hand it to Hamilton, just conveys the calm assurance akin to great veteran racers (Senna, Schuey, Stewart etc).
Lots of overtakes doesn’t make an interesting race. On track battles make an interesting race. Vettel and Bottas had to work for absolutely none of their overtakes today. How can anyone say the race was drab or boring?
We've had more overtakes today than last three races added together .....
I keep watching because it’s Sod’s law that the one race I miss will turn out to be the race of the season. The last race I turned off because it was boring was Canada 2011 and we all know what happened there lolAlways amuses me how many people rant on here after every race about how boring and crap it was.
Then without a doubt do it again after the next one, go do something else then lol.
I’d be inclined to say Magnussen as he did a good job bringing the Haas home in 6thHard pick on driver of the day. Not vettel that' f sure.
Renault were doing so well.. Until that issue struck sainz
What a load of rubbish. Vettel just locked up and ploughed into him. It was obviously slippery into turn 1 (at least three on the inside locked up) but Bottas couldn't have done much more to avoid contact short of doing a Verstappen (floor it through the run-off).No, Bottas should have left enough space, not crossing the corner, Bottas lost the position way before the corner, but Sebastian didn't have space to overtake Ham.

It's easy when you end up in a race of one. But don't include Senna in this as you clearly didn't watch much of Senna's races if your primary description of him is 'calm assurance'.
And you're just as mad overlooking Clark in favour of Stewart in the same category.
Gilles Villeneuve is about as far removed from 'calm assurance' as a racing driver will get. I was never a fan of Villeneueve. He wasn't especially quick and made numerous errors most weekends. His legacy far exceeded his ability in my honest opinion. Max Verstappen reminds me of Gilles in a few ways, and that's not a compliment (capable of occasional brilliance, but often more capable of a mistake).I wholeheartedly agree. Jim Clark is one of the greatest racers of all time and one of my favourite's - I was just quoting names for my post. Hell, I excluded Gilles Villeneuve who is my all time No1.
Yes it was an easy win, I was just saying that Hamilton is deservedly in a place of champions and adopting the persona as such.
